Halo 3’s graphics will include the features seen in the real-time trailer and more, these are rendered using a new graphics engine, making the most of next-gen features like HDR (High Dynamic Range) lighting, pre-computed radiance transfer, and much, much more. The game will also take full advantage of the Xbox 360’s HDTV capabilities.
Q
Did you say real-time trailer?
A
Yes. The trailer shown at E3 in 2006 was rendered in real-time using the in-game engine. All of the assets shown were running on an Xbox 360 debug kit and the trailer was built using the current engine and development tools. The development process continues and new graphics features may be added or changed at any time.
I have Gears of War. I have seen screenshots in magazines and stuff of certain PS3 games that look just as good and I really don’t see why the graphics matter.
Yes, it looks good, cool teeth, altho i the vids Ive seen, (HD) the detail is lost after the camera pulls back or zooms in. if it had the unreal engine 3, detail wouldn’t be lost from zooming in or looking at it from afar.
If you read what else I’d posted, you’d realize your ignorance. Progressive Mesh, which, I’m pretty sure was a feature in the Unreal Engine 2, or a simpler, lower quality version of it.
That pic could be Alpha or Beta, I’m not sure, but its not final. In fact, it was the very first aside from their first trailer, which was likely pre-rendered, but knowing Factor 5, they could do close.
well your information is sadly lacking as the PS3 has to of yet been released world wide so save the premature ejackulation till may when it comes out in england kk.
this also douse not change the facts that PS3 own in graphics witch i belive is the topic!
