Too bad Thor without his hammer is a little bitch. Superman doesn’t even need a hammer or weapon and still knocked the shit out of the little punk. Plus they reduced Superman’s power but luckily he is getting stronger again. Superman can also fly into the sun, powerup come and and knock off Thor’s head. Thor is strong but there ain’t anyone stronger than superman!
Ok, listen, I am the biggest DBZ fan, and I KNOW that Goku and Gohan would lose.
Now, first things first. Goku is weaker in SSJ3 than Time Chamber Trained SSJ Gotenks. Manga canon, it is stated as so.
Second. Mystic Gohan 1 (we never see the second level as Gohan never had time to power up) is far superior to SSJ3 Gotenks.
The Power goes, in terms of strength, for Buu: Fat Buu (without Evil Buu Inside),Kid Buu, Fat Buu, Evil Buu (Grey), Super Buu, Super Buu (Gotenks/Picollo absorbed), Super Buu (Gohan Absorbed). The truth is, and both Goku and Supreme Kai state it, Fat Buu (with Evil Buu still inside) was more powerful than Kid Buu, but he was too gentle and childish to use his powers for extreme evil.
That being said,Mystic Gohan 1 is extremely powerful, but from what we’ve seen, he would not be able to beat Superman or Thor. We have never seen Mystic 2, so we cannot judge that form.
Goku being weaker than Gohan definitely could not win, and thus, even though I love DBZ, I give this battle to Superman and Thor.

I don’t know about that.

I dunno if I stated it in this post, but there is one thing I never go off in a debate like this, and it’s the American dub. American dubs change things, and sometimes try and make them more reasonable by changing things completely. Also, I usually only go with what is said in the manga for a debate, being the manga is always true canon, because it comes directly from the author himself, and animes tend to have things filled in by the studio’s writing staff, and not the author himself.
But that’s me. I never go off American dubs especially though, even Funimation (who are really good at it), becuase it is still americanized, and thus, dialogue is often changed.
The truth is, the real quote is “He’s more destructive” not more powerful. And by destructive, he meant, more dangerous, because his evil wasn’t heald back by the goodness of the kai.

Ok, I can agree that Thor could whup the whole DBZ cast with ease, the assertion that Superman could even touch them on his own is ludicrous. Can Superman destroy entire planets without special circumstances or without doing something silly like flying through the core to make it implode upon itself? No, he can’t. I’ll happily change my mind if you can provide evidence, but I’m pretty certain that he can not.
In the Saiyan Saga, Vegeta destroys an entire planet with a singe energy blast. Now, it’s clear that all the major characters are exponentially more powerful than that by the end of the Z storyline, ignoring GT and movies. Frankly, Superman would, by that rationale (as I believe anecdotal evidence must be considered valid as we are talking fiction here) hardly be able to land a single blow on either Goku or Gohan. Put them together and I’m sorry, but anyone thinking Supes has even the slightest chance is sadly massively deluded.
I stand open to reasoned debate here, but obviously ZOMG YOU IZ RETARD, SUPEMAN IS DA RULEZ will be ignored. Just covering that one quickly, as I’ve seen some of the kids that post on here (no offense intended to the majority of mature rational board members of course).
Might I just add, in order to not sound too unreasonable that there is a definite degree of arrogance on this thread as to the apparent superiority of the laws of the Marvel and DC universes. The assertion, for instance, that the Kais are weak is a matter of perspective. The fact is simply that their foes are immensely powerful. The assertion that Gods and legendary weapons of immense power, etc, are superior, just so long as it strengthens the argument for Thor and Superman winning is extremely biased and subjective.
The fact of the matter is that Superman is just not capable of the same level of destructive power as Goku or Gohan. Yeah, Thor may well be, but Superman just plain isn’t.

ok since he destroyed a very lil planet lets put him up aganist sum1 who can fly thru a sun goku cant do this..........and supes would fly thru that lil planet... and im sorry to say goku cant hurt superman with his weak punches ur a fool a mad supes kills every dbz character there is his power is above the hulk and he flies at light speeds unlike and dbz character
goku is a fake superman anyways he’s just a martial artist........but supes is a trained fighter by wildcat...who hand to hand is the best in the dc universe......plus his strength he could put his hand thru them but can they do the same since supes took 15 point blank punches from the hulk.......and didnt move.......doomsday hit him and he didnt move.
wasn’t that a low ebb Hulk from the 60’s era? and who is to say Goku couldent handle those punch’s as he take’s blow’s of Kid Buu that dent the planet my man.

Are you kidding? Goku could easily fly through a sun, he’d just have to teleport back to somewhere with oxygen afterwards, which he could do instantly even to somewhere in a different galaxy. Once again, you say 'best in the dc universe', that does not neccessarily mean he is the best in the DB universe too. Dude, so what that he took 15 punches from the Hulk? Of course he did, the Hulk is a weakling compared to characters with real superpowers. Heck, even the Ginyu force could’ve whupped the Hulk. Can the Hulk blow planets up? No, he can’t, he’d have to pound for a fair old while just to destroy a small mountain. Even Frieza could do that, and he’s a bit of a pansy in DBZ terms, so the notion that taking punches from the Hulk is impressive is ridiculous.
yep he was sooo pathetic that he held up 100 billion tons during the secret wars right please and goku cannot fly thru the sun cuz if he could he wouldnt have used a 40 times kama to stay away from it and brolly died in the sun and in ww hulk he stepped on the ground and shook the entire world from a stomp and that dented the planet plus 1 thunder clap destroyed a city....and u dbz fans kill me the strongest person gets killed by a hand going thru them that doesnt happen to supes ever
You cite Goku staying away from the sun, which happens before the Frieza saga. You’re just picking whatever information is convenient to your point regardless of validity. Yes someone gets killed by a hand gong through them, that’s because the character putting the hand through them was extremely powerful. Superman never faces anyone who can do that to him because he’s a sanitised mascot character and DC would never do that to him. Just because none of Superman’s enemies were strong enough to do that to him, doesn’t mean that it could only happen to someone weaker. You lack any sense of external perspective here and seem unable to see past this apparently rampant Supes fanboy worship. Superman is not the strongest character in any fiction ever, deal with that.

Since when can Goku fly through a sun? Broly was killed by the sun, Cooler was, even Baby. How is Goku going to survive that?
