Nintendo needs to stop dreaming and do. At least the Zelda series is doing well. The console doesn’t seem so hot anymore.
Actually, the Wii is still selling out across the world, they’re still hard to find. Which from what a lot of media outlets say, isn’t the same for the PS3. I can’t find PS3s anywhere close to where I live, but I’ve seen countless reports about it being widely available, so I dun’t know about it. All I do know is, the Wii is still selling out within hours of hitting the shelves. ---

Still, the Wii so far is nothing but a fad. If they don’t make more quality games and get the online going, they will lose. PS3 already has its online going and it isn’t half bad. --- Club: Ramunematt Is A Fucking Dumbass

And besides that, you can go to any gaming site that gives that kind of news and they say it’s selling out everywhere. ---

The Wii does need to pump out more titles, as for online gaming, they need to get that started too. I think the first online game will be Pokemon Battle Revolution, which should be out in February or March. After that is one of the most anticipated games of 2007, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, which is set for June 1st.
Nintendo will probably have at least 15 online titles out by the end of the year, maybe more. ---

dude, the wii has had the best launch of the generation sales wise... yet, it is still sold out while the ps3 is not. the ps3 has shipped about 2 million, the wii has sold 3-4 million.
its still launch. launch doesn’t have a lot of great games normally. it will probably follow the ds’s pattern game wise (now, notice i earlier said that the handheld and console market were different. i stick to that. the market is different. but, the systems are very similar, so it makes sense that the games would evolve in a similar way.) ---

No, it is true. handhelds like the gba usually sell more. I’d rather by a kid a gba and buy myself a PS2. A GBA is a simple and easy gift while a console on the otehr hand is bigger and requires more adult supervision and expenses.
PS2 outselling gba just shows how good the PS2 marketing was.
The Wii is not going to go the path of the PS2. Sooner or later the sells will take a massive plummet when they realize how little it actually has of what was implied or promised by Nintendo. You can’t live off SSBB online if you’re an online person and Zelda is all ther really is. Monkey Ball is crap, only a Nintendo fan or kid will say it’s good. Elebits isn’t really a game. Most of the Wii games got patheticly poor reviews.
DBZ for Wii sucked ass, the controls were sad and the game wasn’t even meant for the Wii.
As good as a developer as Midway may be MK may be I doubt they will succeed with MK because it is a pure fighting game with way more button oriented combos than DBZ.
So far the Wii is taking the path of the fad while the 360 may be the next sub PS2 if the PS3 can’t get on its feet.
all of those games I listed are some of the most fun games on the PSP, and yet they don’t have to sacrifice fun for graphics, so the PSP IS powerful enough to pull off the real 1-2 combo: a good-looking fun game. | |

True the online games that come will be good but I would not expect to see them anytime until after april because Pkm diamond and peral launch around that time. Most likey the 3 games will launch around april at the same time.
Anyways if the DS had great online you could only think of what the wii can do.
Already there are going to be major online games
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Mario Strikers charged
Battalion Wars 2
Mario Kart wii
Animal Crossing wii
and many more are going to come as well, Metroid Prime 3 may most likey have online multiplayer if it does then it would be an ultimate fragfest that could statisfy any metroid fan for weeks to come. I am still occupied by MPH because the multiplayer is addictive. If Metroid Prime 3 has multiplayer then they most likey would have taken out the cheap factors from Metroid Prime Hunters. --- PkmPFC:0301-6372-2725 MPHFC:5455-2991-6686
