Last I checked, as of about a week ago, PS3 had SHIPPED 2 million. Now, get this, that is the figure that matters to Sony. That’s how they make money is selling to retailers. Of course, if retailers don’t sell, they don’t order...
But yes, the PS3 has sold, as in people took home, only around 1.5 million. That’s not too far off, but if you look at the weekly sales of the Wii in Japan, you’ll know its ahead about, oh, 4 times as many a week.
360 is winning, so be quiet.

Those are NOT shipments. Over 2 million have been sold as in over 2 million people have PS3s. Why is it that whenever something good happens for Sony Nintendo fans change the whole story around to make Nintendo look better?
The ratio for Wiis vs. PS3s sold is 2:1 so calm down Nintendo fans. You’re still winning wat least.

2. Wikipedia probably needs to be outdated because the article I found was VERY recent.
3. I’m sorry but over 2 million PS3’s were sold. That’s fact. I know you guys want the Wii to win but it if the PS3 is beginning to pull itself out of its hole it dug than it is. That’s life.
4. Accept fact. I accepted the Wii is still winning and that the PS3 sells dropped tremendously in Japan last week and you Nintendo fans need to too. I even admit that the 360 (most hated console) is better than the PS3 at the moment. There is no need to change the story around and use old articles or anything to make things seem the you want them to be. Just accept it and move on.

Wikipedias info is out of date
4 days before the article posted by OP was that Sony corporate PDF done. I doubt they could sell that many in 4 days.
Shipments are good though. Means Sony’s getting them out of the warehouses and gettin' their $.
