Oh, and the business and consumer worlds are different. Consider the time it takes for a retailer to put the stock out, then for the consumer to purchase. By your logic, the PS3 would be sold out in Japan, which it is not.

not by that much. they reference a source from previous in the week, and we find a source that is previous that week. they don’t release numbers every god damn day. they don’t even release numbers every week. its a very rare thing. there is no way they release those numbers, then released new ones 1-3 days later.

This is another factor. The time it takes for sales figures to be given out. Japan is, as far as I know, the only country that does this weekly.

Actually, there can easily be a way, especially with their sells charts and do remember the PS3 hasn’t been out for that long so obviously they will concentrate on the numbers more until the PS3 gets more into the game.

Just because it was done 1 week does not mean they do it weekly. The last article I’ve reading about sell numbers for the PS3 was about the end result of last year for the PS3. That’s well over 2 weeks.
