Wii support 480p HD widescreen?

i have not seen a single screen shot that is in 852x480p for a game on the wii, why? dont these games support 480 p widescreen?

I don’t know. The Wiimote sensor can’t handle ridiculously large tvs so I have no idea. Though, I wouldn’t try to get widescreen and hd out of the Wii.
