I know we have anime fans here, be you easy going or more in-depth. So, why not establish a club, where you can share anime-related experiences, talk 'bout your favorite series, learn about new shows, and discuss what’s on the horizon.
This post is dedicated to rules and noteworthy content. If you want something to be displayed here (videos, pictures, etc. but no full episodes or mangas) then you can either post it in the thread if you wish or PM me with it. I’ll put the name of the submitter along with it.
Thread Rules:
1) Do not provide links or videos to full episodes or full mangas, including all unlicensed or fansubbed content. Simple clips and things are okay and discussing any anime (licensed or otherwise) is okay, but not linking to full content. Despite the controversy of fansubs and unlicensed anime and manga, I don’t want to start any sort of battle here, so don’t use any excuses to try and post episodes.
2) Do not post hentai or ecchi material. If you don’t know what ecchi is, its pretty much anime with bits of nudity. Hentai is porn. Also, refrain from overly violent clips or pictures. If you are going to show someone violence, link it with a disclaimer, unless a mod or Bjarne says otherwise.
3) Do not come into this thread unless you plan to join. This is to prevent flames and spam.
4) Do not spam. Simple “Hi” or "'Sup” things are okay, but don’t go into overextended conversations if it isn’t reasonably related to anime.
5) No flaming. This goes to two groups. If someone doesn’t like a show that you do, or they like a show you don’t, be nice and tactful. Same goes for anime-haters out there. Take that somewhere else, not in here.
6) If you want to join, tell me through thread or PM. I’ll be glad to let you in, but you have to enjoy anime and have seen enough of it to be able to discuss. You don’t have to be extreme or well-versed, you can be casual, but don’t be a newb.

My favorite series so far is The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Not only is the show funny and wacky, but its also quite charming with a few bits of serious action. All around greatness.

HMMM fave Eva: prototype Eva 03. Even though it went beserk when it was possesed by the 13th Angel’Bardiel' it realy started to show what the Eva’s were. Angels in Constriction suits. I also like Eva 01. it looked much more menacing then the other evas.
Fav pilot: Rei. She was so sad and inocent until you learnt of her secret. i felt sorry for her, see seemed so lost, then we learn she has no real soul..
Fav Angel: HMMM i have 3. The 13th Angel 'Bardiel' cause he looked cool as an Eva and it was like Avas on Speed.
Secondly, the 17th Angel Tabris. Cause he gave up his life for Shinji’s. He appeared so Innocent and slightly 'GAY' he had that Nievity about him which made for interesting viewing.
finaly the 12th Angel 'Leriel'. I loved that episode. the excelent twist was the real angel was infact the shadow underneath the sphere.

Not a fan...But I like Asuka the most. I really can’t put my finger on it, but I think her depressed rage at the end made me feel bad for her. Despite her arrogance, I didn’t find her annoying. Maybe it was the hair... xD

I pose a question...What is your favorite long-running fad anime (things such as DBZ, Sailor Moon, Naruto, Bleach)?
I personally, like Bleach, even though I haven’t taken the time to watch the episodes online. I dunno why, but I see it each time it shows on AS.
For me, the answer to that question is Naruto. DBZ is kind of lame now, Bleach seems really awesome, but I haven’t watched enough of it. Sailor Moon... no comment.

Yeah thats one reason why I liked Asuka.She made me feel bad for her and she was arrogant but cute at the same time.Your not a fan bout atleast you don’t hate on the show, I know someone who does...

DBZ:Used to be obsessed with it.Now I just hate it.
Naruto:A good show first didn’t like the idea of all the fillers but Cid said there not all that bad.
Sailor Moon:Love it.I grew up with that show and I’m kind of pissed off that they might not bring the last series here.

No...Not in my case anyway... O.o
Sailor Moon wasn’t bad, it was actually my gateway into anime, even though it was the horrible English dub Toonami played... >:/ But yeah, I look at it as girls in skimpy outfits.
Speaking of Sailor Moon...The new Powerpuff Girls anime...Dude, that just...Wow...
I don’t care much for Naruto. The way they do the animation, especially in the fights, is annoying most of the time, despite having its moments. The idea of a crapload of fillers doesn’t set well, but I don’t hate the show too much. I still watch it, just, not my first pick for anything. It also doesn’t help I did a Naruto personality test and got Hinata... O.o I’ll have to get into Bleach more though, I was watching them before the show was licensed, but it was licensed not long afterwards and harder to find.
And you need to watch all of Haruhi. SHE COMMANDS IT!
Man, I need to go back to watching Tenchi. All your talk of Z made me want to search for those episodes, since I never got to see 'em.
Oh so you saw that? Well I don’t know where you can find them besides youtube to look at online.However AnimeCastle sells the DVDs of Tenchi Muyo Ryo-Ohki.
