I have a couple ideas for songs too. i think adam’s song by blink 182 would be pretty sweet and if they can do crazy on you in number 2 then definetly over the hills and far away by led zeppelin, maybe everlong, and perfect situation or buddy holly by weezer. those would be amazing songs to play

Anywho this guy is full of shit, it would be next to impossible to have any song on your hard drive be formatted for the game. The only thing that is viable is the downloading of new songs via an update with the console because the 360 version of Guitar Hero II will already do it.
thats what i was thinking, the updates are COMPLETLEY possible, but reformatting a song and scanning it isnt, there might be a possible way, but very slight chance, that you can take a song off of your hard drive and make your own song, for easy, medeum, hard, and expert levels, but that would be time consuming and VERY hard to make
lol, you know, there was a little game called Dance Factory that was aiming to do the same thing (be able to take any song from a CD and make a beat out of it with a DDR pad). Although the game itself and its technology sucked, the concept was damn nice. So if GH can successfully implement this...

first off, all songs would have to be bought from the updates/live store/Wii store because millions of people use limewire.
