You didn’t completly read what I said, did you. What I said was that Our software has a way of reading songs and mapping them out to guitar parts, but like i said earlier is that It will have no difficulty selection due to lack of software technology and that any songs off of your hard drive will be set at a difficulty very close to easy.
And I never said GH3 will be released with 100 songs, the 100 songs are the amount of songs that will be available for download via Xbox live/ PS network. The game itself will have about the same # of tracks in itself as the other 2 games
I read all of what you posted, if there was a way to automatically map the songs via a type of program then chances are that the same technology would have been in use for the PC rip off Freetar Hero. So I find it doubtful that you’re telling the truth about it.
There are many programs able to take a music file and generate notes/steps such as in the latest DDR clone, “Dance Factory” and in the stepmania file step program, “Dancing Monkeys”. It would take an understanding in music and access to actual guitars, but it wouldn’t be too difficult to write such a program, it’s just that no one or not enough people have tried to do the same thing.
The fact of the matter is none of this is actually confirmed, you cannot trust what someone says no matter where they work and that has proven in the past with many games (look at the supposed character list for SSB.
putting any song on the hard drive is already possible for guitar 1 and 2. my friend has a ps2 with removable hard drive and using his program he can put any song he wants onto the game overwriting the previous songs on the game. I’m sure that professional programmers will have no problem perfecting this technique. i think that not making the game for ps2 would be a huge mistake because of all the lost business to kids who don’t have the 360 or ps3 or have the money for those systems who love the guitar hero games.
first of all i love guitar hero but it needs more recogniseble songs... how about some red hot chili peppers snow, more than a feeling by bosten sweet home alabama, and just more well known songs in general.
I agree with Guitar God 100% And i would also like to know what i would need to get my own songs like you were saying your friend did guitar god? You should let me know what i have to do.
yeah all ur guy’s ideas are true but i was thinking that if u could hop on ps online or xbox live then you could send songs from your hard-drive to the game creators and they could manually map the song for u and make it available for everyone but only online play...... or maybe you could save somthing like 20 or so custom songs on your hard-drive lol
Please someone who knows this for sure, but WILL us PS2 players who dont have a new gen console, be able to get all the songs that the new gens have to out PS2 i REALLY want some new songs and i hope i dont get F'''ed in the A'' cause i dont really have the money right now to go out and buy a 400 dollar Xbox 360, please someone show me the light and tell me.

Thats for damn sure, i will be mad as hell if i dont get to play new songs cause i think playing hanger 18, Jordan, and Free Bird will get old after awhile. and the others songs, WELL once you beat them they kinda get old.
One thing in the both games that bother me are the songs that you aren’t really playing guitar, but some synths! That’s stupid considering the name of the game...
