It is true based on how things are going right now things will go smooth for Nintendo and Microsoft but not sony this year if things continue the way they have been. Already the wii has proven past the PS3 that graphics ar not everything and that gameplay is what really counts.

I think by 2010 the worldwide market will go like this.

1. PS3
2. Xbox 360 (nipping at the heels of PS3 sales)
3. Wii (Far behind)

Here is what I think the better consoles are in order.

1. Xbox 360
2. Wii
3. PS3

by 2010, it really depends on if the ps3 gets its game on. if it does, then it will be:

1)PS3
2)Wii (close behind)
3)360 (close behind the wii)

if sony can’t turn it around, then:

1)Wii
2)360
3)PS3

above is also the order of what i think are best.

Yeah PS3 needs to reach down and slap itself in the face with this launch. But if you remember, PS2 had a similar launch as the PS3. All the reviews said Sega Dreamcast ran smoother, had better graphics, and more game variety. Then out of nowhere, 2 years into PS2’s life, it sold like 40 million units. That’s more than Xbox and Gamcube sold over the course of their existence. However, PS2 really took off when Sega announced they’re dropping out of the console race with Dreamcast. I believe without Sega’s announcement, the PS2 would have done a lot worse.

Sony better act and act fast because Micro to the soft is coming out with that bad ass 360 soon and all the original’s price will drop soo that means with Wii being the most popular right know and the cheapest and 360 will go down in price leaving Sony at the bottom still with the highest price with not a lot of sales!!!!

As far as things continue right now unless any major exclusives stay with sony and not head to the 360 then the PS3 will not last long.

In 2010 it may be like this

1. Wii because it gets games like none of the other systems and its control can give it the most exclusives possibly

2. The 360 because most of the games at work for the ps3 can be taken advantage of on the 360 for its higher CPU power, for example Assassins Creed was only for the PS3 but it is coming to the 360 to have advanced AI and more.

3. Sony if it has hardly any major exclusives left. The only major ones it has left are MGS4, FF13, FF13 verses, and Killzone. The wii has Super Mario Galxey, Metroid Prime 3, SSBB, Zelda wii, Mario kart wii, Starfox wii, heck the list goes on with titles from past systems like the NES, SNES, and N64. The 360 has Halo 3, Too Human, Mass effect, and much more.

Really? Last I checked Wii is selling as fast as ever and still sold out while PS3’s are sitting on store shelves. Maybe you have a link to back up your statement?
