I hate that so much. I mean I practise 1-2 hours of basketball and soccer with my friends after I’m done w/ hw or whatever and yeah I’m stronger than all the jocks in my freshman class but also slimmer and a lot faster. The only time you might do this is to abe crunch or whatever. Otherwise it just bulks you up and makes your ability to play soccer and b-ball decrease.

weight lifting is kinda to like... make you stronger and stuff. Bulk you up.

I used to like weightlifting but now it is jsut becoming a hassle with my ankle. But it really did shape me up haha. Went from skinny kid to bulked up man. Sweet.

I don’t play sports, but I lift weights so I can keep a good shape into my old age.

Yeah but come on; I beat someone in armwrestling and running who’s a football player *my friend Nick* (and he was giving all he had) who’s 6 feet and weighs in at like 180 pounds and I’m 5’6 and 100 pounds...

I don’t play sports, but I lift weights so I can keep a good shape into my old age.

You should just play a bit of soccer for lower body and basketball for upperbody and you’ll stay in shape while having fun.

Yeah, but soccer and basketball don’t really build muscle, just burn calories and fat.

Weight lifting builds muscle, and more muscle means more metabolism, and that means you can burn calories while doing nothing at all.

Well, see I don’t look that buff but I’m a lot stronger than I look.
