Yeah, but the bench press is meant for the pecs, not your arms.
It works for both parts of the body.
it is actually meant for the pecs, there are other exercises that work the arms, like curls.
But the key to arm wrestling is in the wrist. ---

I’m just saying that if you play sports, you really don’t need to.
If you exercise your lower body too it won’t be problem. ---

I was talking about the people that only exercise their upper body. The lower needs to be done too or yes they will be sluggish. ---

It builds up the muscles among other things. Just holding up the weight is not enough. Both the upper and lower halves must be exercised. ---

Running is about endurance and stamina. You can be weak and run fast, you can also be very strong and run slow. Lifting weights doesn’t effect your speed. ---

If your legs are weak what is going to happen? You’ll be slower. Running takes muscle too. get a cast on your leg and when it comes off your leg will have less muscle and will be one of the reasons you will be slower. ---

Running takes muscle, obviously, but runners do NOT lift weights. The run fast and for a long time to build their speed and endurance. A track runner doesn’t need to lift weights to be fast. ---

So if I get fat ass hell I’ll get stronger and be able to play sports just by supporting my own weight with my back and legs?
What BS.
Your legs need to be exercised but it is down in a different manner, running. That builds muscle. ---
