So if I get fat ass hell I’ll get stronger and be able to play sports just by supporting my own weight with my back and legs?
What BS.

Your legs need to be exercised but it is down in a different manner, running. That builds muscle.

If you’re a soccer player; you should be toned not buff and if you lay football you should be really buff; if you play baseball or basketball you need a strong upper body and toned legs.

thats not true, they need as much muscle as possible to take off quick and run, distance runners are skinny usually, the muscle helps them accelerate a lot faster

look at this guy his legs are bursting thith muscle and so are his arms

Actually, they get more weight but are indeed thinner because of not being fat. A runner can weigh a lot due to muscle but still be skinny.

Right, time to clear this mess up.

Your body has two types of muscle fibers.

Fast twitch and slow twitch fibers.
Fast twitc fibers are utilised for explosive power and suit sports such as weight lifting and sprinting, where as slow twitch fibers suit aerobic activity such as marathon running.

Due to the training involved in aereobic activity, the body burns more fat and lean muscle tissue, than what weight lifting does. it also does not build as much muscle mass as weightlifting, hence the streamlined look of most marathon runners.

Weight lifting, which causes damage to the muscle fibers, causes the muscle to repair itself, and in doing so increases the muscle mass of the damaged muscle to decrease the chances of re occuring injury. hence the reason, weigh lifters BULK UP..

Both athletes are burning the same amount of fat over time, with the main difference that the weight lifter is also getting bigger, due to the constant overload on his muscular structure and the bodies repair reflex.

An athletes muscle mass does not always determine a winning performance. A bulked up weight lifter will win a sprint over a skinny guy or vise versa, DEPENDING ON WHO HAS MORE FAST TWITCH MUSCLE FIBERS.

Muscle mass is secondary to the type of muscle fibers you have dominant in your body.

Also, a person can get stronger without gaining and extra muscle by load training. that is where you pick a weight lifting exersise, say bench press. you load the bar with as much weight that will only allow you lift the bar 3 times till complete exhaustion. you do 3 reps and only 1 set. then you walk away. wait 1 day then do it again. each time you think you can squeeze another one out, EG do four instead of 3..DONT. just do the 3 and next time increase the weight.

This strengthens the muscle fibers without damaging them. you will notice huge gains in strength without any gain in mass. this is a trick used by professional fighters, weightlifters ect who wish to get stronger but not go up in a class size. eg stay a welter weight.

Ive done this with my shoulders and arms for years and now, im sure with the right knuckle protection, i could punch through a brick wall. it works!, yet i can still touch my shoulder..just which is the same as i could do 2 years ago.

Oh and arm wrestling is all in the wrists. if you have strong wrist flexors, you can win almost any arm wrestling comp you enter. to build up strength, squeeze a hard stress ball with your palm facing up. also with your palm facing up, grasp a medium to heavy dumbell and curl your wrist up and down again. dont go to fast. control the movement. you can also build up your forearms by keeping your wrist curled towards you when you do bicep curls.

Size is different than weight.

unless the person in question is hollow, they would usually weigh more if they were bigger.
