actually You’re wrong

those fast twitch muscle are the main reason why you can even kick or jump at all, let alone harder

the better ones you have the more skilled you will be unless you build muscle you will suck, you don’t have bony athletes being the best at anything

Actually, thin soccer players are better than bulkier ones. wink

No, it depends on the person.

Dunno about this...

Yes it does. I’m not buff and I can easily tackle a buff person. That is why I’m good at football.

A bulky person with a body high in slow twitch mucsle fibers will run slower on average and wont be as successful as the running game or belting a ball in the back of the net as a skinny person with moderate amounts of muscle which consists of mostly fast twitch fibers. now if the bulky guy had a fair amount of fast twitch fibers, he would easily, hands down beat the skinny guy. of course this example is taking into account that both players are completly equal in skill.

You know what shocked the hell out of me?

Edward Norton. The skinny little guy from Fight Club went from this....

To this.... (American History X)

You know he was on steroids or something. I’m actually taking Creotene right now and working on my physical health. I do weight training 3 times a week (Mostly upper body) and jog 5 miles on alternating days. I may smoke a pack a day, but I guarantee you I could outrun most of you long distance. But yeah, having a job sitting on my ass all day builds stress and I find being physically active is a great way to release it.

I’m just saying that if you play sports, you really don’t need to.

Bullshit!

Why would the professionals weight train all the time if it didn’t help them in their sport?

I started weigh training just for a hobbie, about fives days a week. Before that I use to just run and play basketball to stay fit. But after weight training I began to have a lot more spring to my step. I can change directions much quicker now. My arms have more coridination and I have a much better shot.

5 miles won’t even break a sweat on me. Try running a few marathons before you boast.

I have run marathons in southern Utah and Las Vegas. St. George marathon was 26 miles. I’m saying I run 5 miles without stopping nor is it a slow jog. 27 minutes is about my average time. I don’t have all freaking day to just...run. 2 to Three times a week consistently is plenty active for me. A hell of a lot more than most people I know.

The St. George marathon is a typical 26mile marathon you liar. If it was 46 miles it wouldn’t even be called a marathon, a different term would be applied to it. Marathon= 26.2miles

While I was attending Weber State in Ogden, Utah I ran the Ogden Valley 50 (50 miles) with the universities long distance track team.

You’re right. It was a typo on my part. However, I ran it and it was almost as easy as my 5 mile run because the St. George marathon is allll downhill with a couple of uphill parts. Anybody could do it. Anyhow, good for you. You want a f*cking Twinkie or something?

I am currently 150 pounds n can bench more then 160+.. i have a bd% of like 17 or 18 but i have a 8 pack n extremely chizzled body so it doesnt quite make sense..lol i might of made a few mistake on the device i used..

Anyways, Eating a high protein ( mixed with powders) and low fat ( low saturated n trans fats) will help you gain abs, pecs n a more athletic body...

I play hockey... used to play soccer.. and can really play any sport.. i am very athletic n my bod attracts the ladies wink..

If you eat little to no junk food, all healthy ( food pyramid) n workout or stay active you will feal more confident about yourself... ive been bodybuilding for about 2 years know and i feel much more confident about myself..

Anyone needs any advice you can holla at me.. unless u think u know more then me wink

weight lifting is beneficial in any sport.

sets between 9 and 12 reps increase muscle size.

sets between 12 and 15 reps increase muscle strength.

anything with more reps increases endurance.

if you stretch as much as/more than you lift, you will not lose any agility or flexibility, and may even gain some.

squats and lunges increase leg power, meaning you can run faster.

I’d love to go into the finer details of sports training... but.... maybe later
