It’s true that the tree is already cut down. But say everyone decides not to buy wooden desks soon they would stop manufacturing them (companies don’t manufacture things they know for sure won’t sell). Then you wind up with less trees being cut down.

ive always loved nature... its because of city pollution that the beutiful country is dieing. have you ever gone into the country and noticed how the air is fresh? (apart from animl smells) factories not properly disposing chemicals and throwing them in rivers/laker its ruining it
