I have ALWAYS thought of this, I believe that god does exist and he did create what we call earth, but in all actuality, it should have no name at all, for it is only a planet. If you say Earth today, people would know your talking about the planet we live on. If you said Earth 100000 Years ago, They would wonder what you are talking about.
Most of the things that exist that seem natural, we invented ourselves. There is no January, there is no December. There is no Monday. There is no Friday, we all made these up ourselves.
There is no time, We have a measure of base living. We wake up a 7:30 each day (only an example) but 7:30 was never created by God, 7:30 Was created by someone a long time ago to live out life in a more organized way. Proof of this is the fact that in ancient times, there were several different calandars, clocks, and day lengths. There is no Time, There is measurment.

Of course everything in life is created by man. In my opinion everything really has except for the natural part. I mean man made up time, days, weeks, every proper name in history, religion, government, ect. Really most things are manmade. Natural stuff would be nature basically. But I personally believe that all religion and even god itself is made up by that of man. But that’s just one guys opinion. I’m not here to question why all of this is here. I mean no other animal questions it why should we. Every creature on this planet is the exact and exactly different. But we all undergo the same life cycle. We live and die.
Remember for you try to jump down my throat as usual this is just my beliefs. So if something did create this world then great but I’m not going to try to figure it out. It’s here why worry how it got here. There’s not enough time in the world to figure that out and there’s definetly not enough of my own life to care. Think I’d just rather go through my life cycle and be done with it. But hey just me I guess.

its like inches or feet, kinda. see i believe size dont end, sorta like time. u can expand forever or shrink forever. but — wait this is getting kinda complicated. nevermind. is hard for me to xplain. i dont even kno what im tryn ta say man.
Im saying that, Time is an invention, its not natural in any way, thus making time travel impossible, and to prove time travel impossible, lets just say someone who live 3000 years before poofed on earth, then the future already existed, which means destiny is real. BUT, in order for this to be possible, the past would have to live in the future, and the future would have to live in the past and present, which is impossible, ALSO, if time travel were possible, that means the future is already existing, meaning that Abraham Lincoln wouldnt have died, Hitler would have been stopped, and many other things would not have happened.
Time is indeed man-made, but only as the term we use (the word TIME). Time exists - it’s the non-physical gap between one known event, and another known event.
We base time on our 'own' idea of just that, exactly as you have said Mariomaniac, so we can keep things in order in our lives.
I assume that man invented the basis of time, due to the starts and ends of the days - even basic lifeforms act on that part - sleeping at night when they cannot hunt in the dark, or evolving beyond that, and going too far in the evolution, so they have to sleep in the day, and miss going to the cinema (doh!).
So, in theory, time travel would be the moving in a different dimension, from one 'event' to another 'event'. However, nope, time travel is totally impossible (i reckon) because you could never go forward - if you go back, say 10 days, only you have lived the then 5th day, but it has only 'existed' in your reality. You could not logically go forward to it again because that would be mean the whole of 'times' reality & happenings are based on just what 'you' as a time-traveller, is doing, and for it to happen, the whole of the future MUST be pre-made (Hmmmm).
Also, what would be actually 'going' back in time? you? how is that defined? Which bit of 'you'? Imagine you stand in a box and travel back. Do your clothes go too? if not, why not? What could decide which atoms do the travelling, you may leave your bones behind (ouch) or just the iron particles in the bloodstream or something. Does the box go too? Or just its contents? When it arrived back in another space, it would most certainly 'share' an atom-space, and cause an big bang (oops, sorry universe!)
The God thing? erm, nah. Why?
Basic things like, if you can do anything, and make anything and be anywhere, and know everything etc. etc. why on earth (no pun intended) would you sit for millions and million and millions of years for the oh-so-wonderful HUMANS to evolve?
Where dinosaurs a prototype that screwed up totally? nope, they where parts of the evolution, and if one big stone hadnt hit earth, i wouldnt be on the 'net' right now, neither would you, and my house would be where a brontosaurus is having a p**s. LOL
Also, earth gathered together over such a looooooong time, formed and then cooled for a loooooooong time, then did nothing for a looooooooooog time, then millions & millions of years later, God gets to play the SIMS in real life.
It/He/She must be quite a patient thing. Most humans can’t even wait for the cracked download to complete
And if you made earth while bored one week (he he), would you also bother putting literaly an INFINATE number of stars, moons, gas clouds etc. etc. in space, so far away it doesn’t matter? why again? So the dinsaurs and trees don’t get scared in the dark? Maybe God just likes astronomy or the planets are difficult to glue the tiny trees on to properly? I know - use little magnetic trees!
