I love scars..not in the emo way though...they do tell stories..Glad finaly i have found someone who agrees and understands.

I can look anywhere on my body and see a scar of some sort and know where and when i got it..AND I HAVE A LOT OF SCARS....ABOUT A THIRD OF MY SKIN IS SCAR TISSUE

Scars define character, it shows that you took risks, you lived life, things happened. Apart from my Acne scars, i wouldn’t trade them in for anything in the world

Oh and i cant find the stinkin camera so i will have to post a picture of my tat later on today or tonight in other countries time

i have a nice scar on my back,,,,,,it starts a little below my neack line and gows all the whay down to my but then goes back up and inch or two.....now thats a scar!

Heh - well since we’re on the subject of scars I have 2 that are of any significance. One runs diagonally down my right thumb. Never ever attempt to use a can opener on one of those pull-back top cans and then lift the lid with your fingers lol. The edge becomes razor sharp.

The other is on my ankle. Ex-bf didn’t think to clean up broken glass at his place .

Holy hell, so me and firewolf have some skin art and thats it? Thats weak. I forget most of yall cant get one yet, lol. *sigh* I feel so old now.

About scars, I have a pretty mean on on my stomach from me trying to cut out the aliens. Yeah... drugs are bad mkay.

lol, I pwn for the scars game-

I have a nasty one on my right wrist from when my hand went through a window at a summer camp two years ago.

I have a patchy scar that looks like a burn on my chest from when I took a fall off my bike once.

I have - even though this doesn’t technically qualify as a scar - some pencil lead still in my leg from when I got stabbed by a pencil (don’t ask how).

And, the ultimate unbeatable scar which happens to be my latest - The scar from the chest surgery I’m still recovering from. Its basically a Mercedes Benz logo smack in the middle of my chest. Maybe I could get paid to advertise for Mercedes if I wanted to ^_^

But those are just the major scars, I have a few other marks from past wounds....let’s just say I’ve done and been through a lot, and I have the marks to prove it. Forget inked tatoos, I have natural tatoos.

I have a scar in the middle of my forehead from when I busted my head open on a coffee table when I was 18 months old.

Tatoos eh?

I’d like one for sure, but I also wanted to wait until I knew it would be something I would want to keep.

This may come as a shock, but I have concidered a small tree as a design.
With something cool and personal about it of course.
I’m thinking after I graduate (asuming I finally do....)


Scars eh?

The last scar I got was from running outside, in the dark, intoxicated, straight into a metal pole sticking lengthways from a trailer.
I’d like to say this ways years ago. Sadly it was this summer. Happily only I can see the scar(so maybe it doesn’t count)

Yup I’m in the same boat you’re in treeplanter. I’m fairly certain I want to get one....but if I do it has to be something I’m sure I’ll want to keep.

I met an interesting couple once...instead of wedding bands the both got a tatoo in the shape of a braclet of their wrists..and each symbol meant something to the both of them.

That’s pretty interesting. I like the idea. It shows more commitment to the person than a piece of jewelry.

There are a few tattoo places that you can buy temp tattoos from that last for around two weeks. you can get them doe to the design you want and get them to apply it so you can get some idea about wether you like it or not..heres a link with some more info.

Tattoos are the 2nd worst body modification to me, worse then extreme piercing, but behind tounge splitting.

Inappropriate piercing - more then one piercing on one ear or piercings on nose or lips.

Extreme Piercing - Piercings beyond ears and nose. Tounge, Niples, Naval, mouth/cheek.

Back to tattoos.

I have an angel wing on the right side of my back. I have the virgin marry on my left shoulder. A skull on my left ass cheek. The USMC sign on my on my the left side of my chest and the date of my entry into the Marines on my left fore arm amd then I’m going yo get the insignia for my new unit on my right one with their names. And my most beloved one is my wife’s name and my sons name on my neck.

I’m going to get jesus on the cross on my right bicep, and if I ever have more kids I’ll just put them on my neck with the rest of my family.

On the scars topic. I got about 30. Knife marks, scrapes, accidents, and the infamous bullet entry wound in my right thigh (almost took my God damn leg.)
