And for once I agree. Kira in Strike Freedom kills Heero.Strike Freedom is a much more advanced Gundam and from what I’ve seen Kira is a better pilot.Add in the fact that he has those dragoons and it appears he is a limited newtype he wins.

uhmm.. lets see.. duh!!! wing zero much!!!!!
first lets look at the pilots. kira or heero.. hands down heero.. he is stronger in all aspects, in battles, mentally, physically..
second, seed or zero system.. zero system!.. seed may increase reaction time but the problem is kira would have to go berserk before he can use seed. while heero uses zero system the whole time. and zero system can predict moves.
then comes the machines: wing zero custom or strike freedom. its a very close battle between them two. but still the wing zero is much lighter, much maneuverable and much faster than the strike frredom. twin buster rifle or multi-beam connon thing.. duh. buster rifle.. it covers a much larger radius and has more killing power than those cannons. and the zero would be able to predict the moves of those dragoons, so theyre useless. but id think the fight would be a beam sber fight. close range, beam sabers. and because the zero is more agile, thus the zero wins. oh, and dont forget those angel-like wings of his that allows him to enter the atmosphere, block all-types of weapons, and fly much much faster.... zero all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!

allow me to clarify a few things for you...

Coordinators are meant to 'adapt' in a much faster manner than ordinary humans (yes, no matter how 'cool' you think Hiro Yui is, he’s still 'normal') since it’s in their genetics.

Zero.Sys vs. Seed mode: it clearly shows you’ve never even seen Gundam SEED or Gundam SEED Destiny. in the early eps. of SEED, Kira enters his SEED mode only when 'provoked' to the max. but as the series progresses, he can enter it AT WILL. you also did not mention that the Zero.Sys has mental side-effects to the pilot when using it for a much longer duration; however I don’t think it would affect Hiro compared to an average Gundam pilot.

Wing Zero & Freedom: before you utter such bullshit posts, maybe you should check out their specs and compare them. how did you conclude Wing Zero is faster when the Freedom has a HiMAT (High Mobility Aerial Tactics) and the fact that the Freedom can also move about with the DRAGOON equipment with little to no decrease with its speed? man, you certainly are full of shit.

to sum it up for ya, Wufei’s Altron Gundam made Hiro/Wing Zero a pussy in Endless Waltz. there, so shut the fuck up you Hiro fanboy! you shouldn’t be analyzing things from a fanboyism perspective but in a neutral way of thinking.

further more, the Wing Zero in the TV series and EW are THE SAME - there is no such thing as 'Custom' because its only used for the model kits not the anime. get your facts straight!!

Ok,I am both a huge fan of both series with no bias but I’m going to explain through facts... But for the record I like the SEED universe much better than the Wing universe...cooler gundams, better love story, better story in general

Anyways let me clarify things even furthur:

1. Zero System vs. SEED mode - When Kira enters SEED mode, he thinks and reacts faster, but that doesn’t mean he is invinicble. How many times has Kira been hit even with SEED mode? Let me jog your memory - Battle between Kira and Rau La Cruse, Providence gundam nearly destroys the freedom, all that was left was the body...head, arms, legs, wings, cannons, thrusters etc... gone. Let me remind you that Kira was indeed in SEED mode vs Rau La Cruse not in SEED mode. When ever Heero activates the zero system and the cockpit turns yellow the whole time (with the ringing sound) he never ever got hit, not even touched. Heero has mastered this and through this, he turns off his zero system and fights and wins over Epyon. The cockpit only turns yellow after Heero asks Zero to “guide him through this”.
2. Wing Zero vs Freedom: It is true that the DRAGOON units are highly manueverable but they are not invincible. True that Freedom may have 6 or 8 wings that acts as thrusters but they are extremely small thrusters with small vent ports. The battle between Altron and Wing Zero did not come to an outcome because Heero was tired of the useless fighting and wanted to show Wufei that fighting isn’t everything, that is why he shut down Wing Zero and plunged into the ocean without trying to fight or damage the Altron. Freedom is just a highly advanced Gundam, but if the pilot sucks, then the Gundam itself would suck. On the other hand, Wing Zero has developed a semi-AI system, where it can take control of the pilots mind and bend it to its will...When Wing Zero plunged into the ocean in Endless Waltz, Wing Zero woke Heero up by itself and told him it wanted to stop all this, and convinced Heero to fight once more. If you put an unexperienced pilot in both of these machines, you would result in Freedom being utherly useless, but with Zero, although it may mess with the pilots mind, can react and still fire. So in the end, Wing Zero would come out top.
3. Heero vs Kira: Yes its true that Kira is a first gen. Coordinator, he is also the “Ultimate Coordinator”. He has extreme fast reflexes and turns into SEED mode when the situation requires it. But as I said, he is not invincible, and he couldn’t take both Ray and Shinn at once, where Heero always managed to fight multiple enemies at once, without getting hit i might add. Heero is just a born killer, he even puts back broken bones with his bare hands!!! Not even Kira has the will to do that. Kira would be a better pilot overall, defeating Heero without the use of Gundams through strategical methods, not violent methods. Heero on the other hand, is extremely skilled with weapons so if it was a fist fight, he would win.

End Result: Heero with his Zero system in the Wing Zero would predict every single move that Kira would make and Heero doesn’t hesitate to destroy Kira if that was his mission. Kira would be scared shitless and back down, no matter how many times he dodged Heero’s attacks

wing zero, here’s why

Wing Zero has a shield. Not to mention, it’s body itself is a shield.

Gundanium alloy is strong enough to resist a shot from the twin buster rifle. When Quatre fired one at Heero in the Mercurius, intending to destroy it and the colony, the Mercurius was merely blasted inside the colony. And it took two shots from the TBR to destroy the Vayette.
The Virgo’s beam weapons are as powerful as the Wing’s Buster Rifle, yet repeated shots on Gundams had hardly any effect. The Wing’s BR is more powerful than any MS weapon in the CEverse.
The DRAGOONS, chest canon and beam rifle don’t pack enough power to damage a mobile suit made out of Gundanium. Maybe the beam saber, but the the Wing Zero’s shield is extremely tough.

The S. Freedom is not faster than the WZ. Think about it, if the S. Freedom was really that fast, it’d have blitz the Legend which is a slow ass Gundam.

Also to take note, the DRAGOONS need to re-dock to recharge it’s power, so it won’t always be there to help the S. Freedom. Not that it’ll be of much help in this fight really, as the Zero System can easily send data to Heero about the flight patterns of the DRAGOONS

And the Zero System is a super computer, it can process loads of information in so very little time it’s not going to lose against the human brain, ultimate coordinator or not. Not to mention, Kira’s moves are very predictable(reference: Shin Asuka studying Kira). If Shinn was able to understand Kira’s fighting style, the Zero should have no problems.

For pilots, Kira’s dancing through beam fire looked impressive, but if one takes into account the person/s firing those beams, they become less than impressive feats. Splitting beam fire though... but he still gets hit with the right shot. Kira is not untouchable. Shinn’s proved it, Rey’s proved it, Athrun’s proved it. And Rau proved it.

As for Heero, from what I can remember on my rewatch, other than easily taking out Leo’s in a Leo suit, fighting against the Altron in said suit, while suggesting to Wufei to “press the button”, and only receiving a severed arm, and a graze on the chest .
He fought Zechs, who was using the more nimble Tallgeese, for 3 hours straight using the Heavyarms with an injury. Which was also the first time he had to pilot the Heavyarms.
Mastered the Mercurius and is unmatched by any Oz pilot according to Lady Une. And unlike Kira, he’s very resourceful, as seen when he used the snow to hide himself from the Tallgeese’s heat sensors, among others.

Kira stopped using his head when he got the Freedom. It didn’t even occur to him to fuck the Forbidden’s beam deflectors with his beam saber, which is what Athrun did, instead he kept using his Plasma canons, pointlessly.

And, for 01 up there, heero (that’s how you spell his name) only lost to Wu Fei because heero didn’t even want to fight in the first place, he wasn’t going all out. Like i said before, he managed to match Wu Fei in a crappy leo, what makes you think he wouldn’t do it in Wing Zero? Besides, at the end he even gave up and plunged into the ocean, and in the manga he threw the fight and let wu fei hit him with his beam sword.

and the mental side effects of the zero system was only because the pilots couldn’t handle the system, those effects don’t show up for heero
