Actully the first Metroid is a hard game, no saves and very hard to survive there are only 1 kind of health orbs and they only restore 5 health eash. The energy tanks still refill them all but even if you die and start over you are stuck with just one full tank every time, your last one.

Has anyone here ever played Raze’s Hell? I’m having a hard time with that game, and I have it on the easiest setting.

Devil may cry 3, no contest. Hell theres a difficulty in it called 'heaven or hell' mode where you basically die with one hit

Viewtiful Joe has one of the hardest game settings ever. First there is Kids mode which is easy- you start with 10 hearts, then there is adults which is normal- you start with only 5 hearts. After beating adults mode you can play V-rated mode and trying to be it as slyvia is hard she is fast but really weak and takes twice the damage of anyone else. When you beat V-rated mode there is an even harder mode called unV-rated mode which is so insanely hard just trying to get the upgrades to have a better chance at beating the game is hard.
