PS3 is blue-ray player with a game machine built in. Blue-ray is too high-end like Beta-max tapes.

Sony is simply a rotten company all around. They shut down Lik-Sang for actually treating people the way Sony should.

They install nasty rootkit spy-ware on your PC’s to fix a problem that they created with software.

The PS2 and PS1 had design flaws that encouraged disc read errors and Sony charged ridiculous amounts to fix what you could easily fix yourself if they only told you how.

The PS3 is the most powerful? So what?
The games so far, suck and 90% of the exclusives are going cross-platform because the game companies aren’t going to make shit with PS3 which is selling like crap. I’m sorry, if I’m avoiding dropping 600 fucking dollars because the dew on the leaves in Oblivion is rendered in real time.

PS2 games look worse on PS3.

The difference is, the PS2 didn’t have some dumbass technology like Blue-ray (which was included simply to get the technology, which Sony has chosen to back, into more homes)

You’re getting a $1,000 piece of electronics AND the other devices for $600? How many corners do you think they cut with the design?
By the time the price drops even remotely (again, Sony rarely drops their console prices) The other systems who care more about GAMES, will have cemented their hold.
