I had to correct the misspell, because I know I just trashed you so bad you’re only defense would be to point out a simple misspelling.
Not quite sure how anyone named “poopymonster” can be said to have successfully “trashed” anyone. hehe ---

movies filmed in Canada are not Canadian movies =/
lol
canadian staff, actors, locations, sets everything except the Director and main actors, and even Then some of America’s favourite Actors are Canadian
You’re an idiot
All I am saying is that if a movie is filmed in Canada it doesn’t make it a Canadian movie.... it was just filmed in Canada...
The Last Samurai, filmed in New Zealand, an American movie...
soooo by your definition.. any movie that is payed for by someone in HollyWood, is an American movie
no matter where it’s filmed, who it’s starring, who directed it, who wrote it
If someone in America put money into it, it’s an American Film??
Welcome to Planet America :P
I know I’m a few days late for this debate, but I would agree and disagree with both of you. I would agree that a movie where an American studio owns the rights is not 100% Canadian. But when it has Canadian (or British as the case may be) actors, writers, filmed in Canada and so on then it cannot be said to be entirely American either. It’s a collaborative effort and therefore both countries deserve credit for the film. Ok perhaps a lopsided collaborative effort at times ---
