variable++;
and everytime there was a post it would go
variable=variable+3;
it would be a bit more complex then that adding the time thing in but yeah ---

Yeah, I suppose. That WOULD make it actual popularity instead of page views.. But I kinda like the idea of page views more. It seems more useful than thread popularity.

It might be more efficient if it were something like “most recent forum posts” or even just a mini overview of that forum. (sort of like most recent posts in the threads, but just showing the topics) =/ ---

Yeah, it doesn’t really get in the way at all, but I think it could be a little more, “useful” in a way.

Also Bjarne, I don’t suppose Popularity can be moved to between replies and when it was started? I think most people look at how many replies it has first, and personally it’s throwing me off when I see an old thread and think it only has 29 replies ---

A lot of internal improvements will come including output caching which will boost the speed (hopefully) and reputation system (within this month). ---
