Ok, Being from African American, Native American, White Irish, and Latino desent, I feel like the new the rule regaurding the censorship of words used by Members or Guest about Race, religion, and backround are wrong. Being a joker and a comedian, my vocabulary, is, well, colorful. I am not afriad to joke or mock someone else’s race as long as they are in on it.
It also makes me feel like I am being betrayed, like I fought for censorship instead of freedom. The fact that I am not aloud to say it make me feel like I am striped of my Freedom of Speech and my unalienable rights given to me at birth.
In no way or form am I trying to promote racial comments, I am saying that people should be trusted and respected by the the website to say what we want to say, without the use of censoring post’s.

But who the hell is there on this website to be a racist too. If there is, then its never directed to a individual. People don’t out of the blue turn to one member and call him a spic. If some one was fatboy23, people don’t turn to them and say, “hey cracker, you should die because your white”. Never have I ever seen that on this website.
I can say Spic, Chink, Cracker, Melon, Bannana, Oreo, Nigger, Mexican, or anything as long as I am not saying it to Mr. Smith,(example). No one here cares, no one here has even shown Racaisim to anyone on this website. We aren’t being ordered by the FCC to watch our language or dialog, otherwise I would of left a long time ago. Apperently I see no problem with it as long as I’m refering to someone by race, religion or nationality as long as they know its a joke. There is a fine line between meaning something, and joking, and I have never crossed that, or anyone else for that matter.
The website should be able to trust its members, letting them use whatever words they want, and if it effects them, then let them send a private message to Bjarne or a mod, otherwise I don’t want my post to be edited by any mod. That shows me that I have no rights on this website.
All I’m saying is that I don’t want Moderators changing my post. Thats where they took it a little to far. No one has the right to do that to me. If I say something that I don’t feel comfortable with, then I make the decision to change that, regaurdless how evil or hateful it might be. Of course I will never provoke or insult anyone the wrong way, basicly because I don’t like it when people do it to me, its just the fact that no one should be able to take anything from me, even if they are words.

savage, think of it like this. this is a privately owned area. you are here becouse others (Bjarne) allow you to be. but, you have to play by their rules. you don’t have your rights everywhere, even in the US. for example, when you enter an airport, you loose your right to bare arms. while you are here, you must follow his set rules, and if you do not, he has the power to not let you come here (in form of a ban.) according to the high power and owner of this sight, you cannot use racist slander. it is well within his rights to enforce this.
Yet Bjarne opened a public website for people all over the world to came here and speak the minds and opinions on topics. Literally handing the Website over to the members and guest to say what ever the want or choose. He knew full and well that there would be people who would come here and say things that would hurt others. If he didn’t, then he isn’t responsible enough to run it.
This website turned from a place where people from any age, sex, color and nationality can sit down and be able to talk about topics to a school where there are Mods running around banning members for saying this and that. In a way, I don’t think there should be mods at all, there shouldn’t be security on a place where only people’s feelings get hurt. If a soldier cried to me saying that so and so said this to him, then I would of zipped him up in a body bag myself.
I mean if your going to change anything or inforce anything, it should be age restrictions on this website. Someone who would have to be around 15 to be mature enough to handle an insult, otherwise its like a fucking preschool. This website has 10 and 11 year old kids coming on this website when they should be in school or doing their homework. Of course your going to get complaints from a 10 year old, its in their nature.
So for the sake of the movie codec members and people who just don’t give a fuck, change the stupid censoring rules. Anyone who complains about death threats and racail issuse’s should be banned, because they oviously did someting for someone to snap at them.
Oh, I walk through an airport everyday. They make exseptions.
actually, its privatively owned by bjarne. he is allowing us to post here in order to make a living. that means that he can do what he will to us.
racist slander is a big deal. it is what starts the decline into racism. bjarne pays for the sight to be hosted. if he doesn’t want that on his sight, it is well within his rights to stop you from saying this. insulting a person is allowed, and that is logical. insulting a race is not allowed, and that also makes sense.
ah, but what if that same solder had started cussing out your commanding officer on a regular basis? do you think he would just laugh along with it?
