It doesn’t work perfectly though...

It says ok is an incorrect word.

It’s good for those big words.
Onomatopoeia.

True... but how can it say ok is not a word?

ok is the most widely used word in the world, and it’s a universal word, no matter what language you speak chances are ok is in it.

Do you really need a correction for ok?

It’s the commonly misspelled words it’s good at. If a word like “grammar” is spelled “grammer” than a red line will appear beneath it, you right click the word and it gives you a list of possible words that may be what you’re trying to write, unless your spelling is so horrendous that it’s completely off the mark of listed possibilities, which is the case for some of you.

it also doesn’t list the greatest word in the world: hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia, a fear of long words.

the spell check is a bit glitchy too, you will be typing a word and in the middle of typing it will say it is wrong.

It also says “glitchy” is not a word.

The Firefox Spell Check awesome, I hardly ever make a spelling error now, and the ability to add words to the dictionary fixes and problems with words spelled correctly claiming to be wrong.

I’ve been adding all my favorite video game character’s names to it as well...

Sephiroth is now a correct word, and now when I type it Sephiorth it tells me I’m wrong.

All hail firefox!

Not that I needed spell check...

But yeah, it helps.

However, I think “ok” is misspelled actually. Yeah, its commonly used, but so are a bunch of words. The correct form is supposed to be “okay”.

Then again, that could change...

Eh...

Opera is better, but like Firefox before it, people make stuff incompatible when they code websites, such as this site. It works on Opera, but the topic buttons are out of whack.

Opera managed to pass the Acid2 test before Firefox...In fact, Firefox 3 is the one to be doing that. IE7 fails miserably...

IE sux.

Firefox rox.

Opera rox too.

Didn’t for me.

Well, when I capitalize it, then it says misspelled...But not when I lowercase it?

HAHA! Fixes need to be done Mozilla...

I hate Opera. I had it for a while and whenever I was on a forum I would make a post, and then when I went back, I wouldn’t see any new posts or replies, but when I looked in FF, they were there.

I can’t agree on the grounds I’ve never had that problem. I have on the Wii Opera browser, but it pales in comparison to the newest Opera.

Actually, in my experience, Opera has been faster and more secure, but I think Firefox is just a bit simpler to use.
