The same thing I just said in the Yun thread applies here, Lu Bu can be affected by Sephiroth’s mind control, everybody is. Sephiroth creates an illusion like he did with Cloud and the group with Super Nova and kills Lu Bu easily by cutting off his head.

Oh and if you don’t want to believe that Super Nova is mind control then fine, it’s not, it actually is an attack powerful enough to destroy our entire Solar System.

Okay then, since you say it’s not mind control and Safer Sephiroth is still Sephiroth then that means that Super Nova does indeed destroy the solar system, Sephiroth wins.

I don’t know what’s sadder, the fact that Cid was the first person to call it an illusion or the fact that Kai said it wasn’t and now she’s saying it is.

Super Nova is a deep form of Mind Control, Sephiroth has extremely strong willpower, stronger then just about anybody. His will is so strong that he is able to have his body completely destroyed but still live. Over time (about five years in Final Fantasy 7) he can even regenerate his body from nothing, that was before fusing with Jenova and becoming a demigod in the northern crater.

The point is though, Sephiroth uses his willpower to invade his enemies' mind, from there he creates the illusion that we saw as Super Nova.

I do believe that Cid explained that already.

The only thing Sephiroth has to do is make eye contact, after that his enemy could be in an illusion. After Sephiroth puts his enemy into the illusion he attacks them physically, that’s why the illusion in the game dealt damage, the group thinks that the illusion hit them not Sephiroth.

So that means that while experiencing the illusion you’re completely open to an attack, which with a vicious fighter like Sephiroth, means he’ll kill you right there.

Sephiroth wins this fight hands down, every single fight between Sephiroth and somebody on this first page is won by Sephiroth.

yeahhhhh plus Cloud and the rest overcame this attack and Lu Buu is beyond a doubt a way better fighter.
