Well, as unfortunate as it is that I must agree with Darkness about the outcome of the fight, I do say that I doubt you’re a bigger fan then I. Maybe about the same as me, but a bigger fan is unlikely. I’ve played and beaten the original game well over 50 times, if somebody new to the game was playing it in front of me I could guide them through the entire game all while also telling them where to find powerful weapons, materia, and rare items.
I can almost perfectly describe the layout of any town without referencing a book or the game itself, and I could answer any question involving the game as long as it isn’t related to specific text.
I’ve read both on the way to a smile stories and I plan on reading the new Barret Story and the Maiden Who Travels the Planet whenever I get the time to do so. I wanted to see Advent Children so badly that I spent almost 2 weeks downloading the Japanese version with a Dial-Up connection right after it was released in Japan at the end of 2005. I beat DoC within a week of it’s US release, which was saying a lot because I was using my brother’s PS2, which meant I had limited play time each day. I bought a PSP just so I could play Crisis Core when it’s released. And to top it all off, I’m working on a way to play Before Crisis.
