This is the only difference they are not the same storywise. All the abilities cloud, squall, yuffie and tifa had were just as good if not better than their abilities in FF7

Now thats something I never thought I’d hear.Tifa was no where near as fast in KH2 as she was in Advent Children,same for Cloud and Yuffie.Hell they didn’t even have materia or all their limit breaks.

The Kingdom hearts versions were a lot weaker in just about every aspect. I made a thread about it on a FF/KH website before and they all seemed to agree, even the hardcore KH fans.

I guess you can sort of look at it like SSBM. No way in hell can Pichu beat Ganondorf right? KH is sort of similar like that with the FF fight.

Sora is the main character, so they have to make him look stronger then the other heroes in the game.

The sad thing is though they screwed up because Sora couldn’t even hurt Sephiroth and yet Cloud can supposedly beat him.

I suppose SOME square characters were powered down, but c’mon some were the same in KH2, like yuffie and squall leon. They were changed a bit but they were really powerful. Plus in the paradox battle in hadees chamber sora beat squall, cloud, tifa and yuffie at the same time, that MUST mean that hes better than at least one

Yeah but the problem is the bigger characters had to be weakened. Cloud and Sephiroth are the main two.

yeah, I started a new game in KH2 and I fought sephiroth when sora was at lvl 50, he died in like 4 hits with that long sword, so yah...

Plus if the characters chose what team to be on, cloud would pair with sora riku and mickey since sora and cloud are kind of “pals” in KH, that fight would make more sense also because minda and link are zelda characters

Final Fantasy versions are so much faster and stronger, they also have different outfits, FF abilities are better,in advent children clouds sword breaks up to at least five blades(he uses all five at once while using omni)

id say KH1 Cloud was very different than FF Cloud and alot but by know means weaker since he had crossed over to a darker path (assaination of Hercules anyone), he was turning in the same way Sephiroth did hence the wing on his back.

Clouds fighting was compereable to A.C accept he did not suffer Geostigma and wasnt weakend, and was still able to fight in the air and at the same pace as AC infact i dear say those fights in KH were juiced up abit.

In KH2 Cloud was a double of himself in A.C, and Tiffa was by know means weaker she stood up to sephiroth!

Sora on the other hand has went toe to toe in skill with all of them, at once!

also Squall and Cloud were shown to be on par with each other in that game so id say Roth is the third most powerful entity in that game out of the Enix crew.

another point would be that Sora has used Ultima KeyBlade and LionHeart KeyBlade and his ultimate Master KeyBlade is ubove both of them.

also i thought the whole fact Sora fought those battles against everyone of them in normal state and won shows his superiority lol.
