for me, there was armageddon, and ladder 49, I also saw titanic and all my friends said a few tears were jerked outa them in that movie, which is odd, because that movie only made me sad, I definatly didn’t cry tho.
Armageddon definately will jerk the tears....wonderful movie...
But apart from that, only two other things made me cry - Band of Brothers (the one when Easy Company finds the Nazi death camp), and actually the second thing was on a game believe it or not. Call of Duty 2 had a really great little audio thing play on the victory screen for the defense of Pointe du Hoc....the only reason I even got blurred vision was because of the really literal terms used to depict the unmatchable courage of the Rangers who took that pointe. I’ll quote it-
“We stand...on a lonely, windswept pointe. At dawn, on the morning of June the sixth, 1944, the Rangers looked up at the cliffs and saw the enemy soldiers shooting down at them and throwing grenades....and the American Rangers began to climb. They shot ropes over the top of these cliffs and began to pull themselves up. When one Ranger fell, another would take his place. When one rope was cut, a Ranger would grab another and begin his climb again. They climbed, shot back, and held their footing. Until one by one, they pulled themselves up over the top. And in seizing the firm land at the top of these cliffs, they began to seize back...the continent of Europe. 225 came here. After two days of fighting, only 90 could still bear arms. These are the boys of Pointe du Hoc....."
I know I can’t provide the same linguistics and the humbling music, but in all seriousness, how is it men can have enough courage to charge headlong into certain death without hesitation, and with only their duty to usher them forward? I only wept because the bravery of those 225 men in the face of impossible odds reflects so much humbling thought upon the rest of us, and how undeserving we are of freedom we didn’t die fighting for.....
That’s all I’ll say about that....I thank God for those men....

He gets his wife pregnant then finds out that he is dying of cancer and will be dead before he sees his son born. So he makes up a video for his unborn child to watch on his birthdays and and Christmas or each year of his life and also make up a memory video so his son can get to know his father, even though, he will never see his boy, cause he is dying and he only has like 5 months to live. Its really touching and makes me cry every time.
