So far I have Naruto, Budokai Tenkaichi, SC, Tekken, MK, SF, Dead or Alive.

Dunno which is best.

Say which one is best or offer another choice and say why cause I mean like combatwise, graphics, fun etc.

Super Smash Brothers Melee is the best fighting I’ve played, and I’ve played a lot of them.

The fighting games I have played, Super Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, Naruto Clash of Ninja, Street Fighter, Dead of Alive, and Soul Caliber.

I would say Super Smash bros was the best it was a very ingenious idea to have all the major nintendo characters get together to beat the crap out of each other. Soul Caliber would be next it is one of the best fighting games ever, Finally I would say Mortal Kombat, while it may be different then others for having a no chain combos it is very fun to do fatatiles.

SSB Melee, the Budokai sereis, and the Smackdown Games(If you wanna count Smackdown as a “fighting” game) are the best that I’ve played.

Ky Kiske of Guilty Gear.

He’s, apparently, French in the game, but with a name like that, I think the developers were on crack.

Also, he’s my favorite character, mainly because he’s probably the only normal character in the WHOLE game. My second favorite would have to be May or I-NO, the former a petite girl who wields a massive anchor and the latter a chick whose hat is her bitch and fights like Haraku in FLCL, with a guitar I mean, and she rips her shirt of when she wins .

The game has tons of odd characters.

I dont know, there are too many! MK is cool just cuz its fun as hell and always has some neat extra stuff, but the actual story behind the characters has gotten pretty lame in the last few games.

Um Marvel Ultimate Allaince is an Action RPG, not a fighting game. A fighting game is basiclly with two or more characters in a set arena and they fight until one or a team wins. Fighting games usually stick to an arcade mode or a story mode and are always side scroller fighting ( Like Street fighter or SSBM) , 8-way step mode fighting ( like Soul Caliber) , or free movement fighting.( Like Power stone)

Marvel is an action-RPG because well action manly for the fighting but an RPG because you level up your heros as you want and you control how they develop in terms of their gear, upgrading their suits, team stats, and powers when you want, and you assume the role of any of them. You never level up your characters in any fighting game.

I only played DOA3 all the way through to beat it with a charcter so I dont know if its the same in all of em but what the fuck was up with the boss fight when you had to like, run forward and kinda at an angle. That shit was stupid.

Tekken 5, Virtua Fighter 4 evo, Guilty Gear x2 and Soul Caliber 3, DBZ tekanchi 2 and the classic Darkstalkers 2. They are my picks.

Tekken 5 for the sheer fun and joy it brings to me.

Virtua Fighter 4 evo, cause it is realistic and you can program a computer fighter to fight for you which is uber cool!

Guilty Gear x2, cause its simply georgeus and has freakish kick ass characters, silky smooth moves and kill you anytime finishers.

Soul Calliber 3, cause it features great character models, awesome weapons based combat and a multitude of add-ons like the quest mode and the ability to make your own custom fighter.

DBZ tekenchi 2, cause it really encapsulates the feel of DBZ and looks awesome to boot. Its a hoot to play.

Darkstalkers 2, although old as now, it had cool characters from various mythological backgrounds, like frankenstien, the mummy, a vampire, a merman, a werewolf, a japanese ghost, a sasquatch...the list goes on. and it was a cacom game, so think streetfighter with ryu and co replaced by monsters. Fabulous game and really over the top.

they are my picks...as you can see, I LOVE FIGHTING GAMES. OUT OF MY 100 games plus collection for ps2, around 30 of them are fighters. YAY.
