Laharl is an Overlord and ruler of all Demons in his domain he has near limetless energy and pulls gigantic Flameing Meteors out of his anis lol, im sorry but Sephiroth hasnt got a chance in Hades.
Hey i like Sephiroth just as mutch as anyone but he cant beat laharl
1. Hes an Overlord the Prince of all demons in his Realm meaning hes the strongest Class of Demon THATS A BIG DEAL!
2. Hes Imortal but he can die its just really really hard, as far as i know no earth bound weapons have effect on him and he can survive the destruction of the entire Nether-World.
3. Laharl is crul sadistic and evil he makes Sephiroth look like a quire boy in comparison and his Demon Realm Blades are stronger than earths and even if Sephiroth is the better swordsman Laharl is no slow Poke and Dimention Slash would end it.
i know it sounds like im bitching but when you see a 5ft miget block a puntch from Bal, and summon a meteor the size of north America it sounds really silly to think Mr Cresant Would win.

At which state? If its original maybe, however yet again I can see Laharl beating Safer.
The real Sephiroth isn’t much stronger than AC Sephiroth. There’s nothing saying he’s stronger for that matter.
Actually, the AC Sephiroth is far stronger then the FF7 Sephiroth, and the sad thing is that the AC Sephiroth didn’t even have all of his power due to the fact that Yazoo and Loz’s concisenesses weren’t a part of him.
The FF7 Sephiroth was able to travel into the lifestream and manipulate it in any way he saw fit as proven in the story “The Maiden Who Travels the Planet”. He was also able to retain his life force and stay alive even though his body was completely destroyed as stated in the “Ultimania Omega”. In Advent Children we see him adding the power of creating negative lifestream to the list of his feats.
Also to clear something up for you manchester, Cloud may have defeated Sephiroth in Advent Children but he was nowhere near being as strong and him.
The Ultimania Omega wrote:
It’s said that Cloud was outmatched when it came to the fight with Sephiroth. Sorry everybody who thinks that Cloud was almost on par with him: he wasn’t. Even worse for Cloud, Nomura said that Sephiroth didn’t sweat during the entire fight and never exerted himself. In other words, he wasn’t even trying hard. Cloud on the other hand was clearly giving it his all and was described by the book as exhausted by the time the battle was nearing its conclusion.
In conclusion, after playing Disgaea and watching the series I don’t think Laharl could take on Sephiroth from Advent Children, he might be able to defeat Pre-AC Sephiroth, but even that is beginning to look like a long shot as I learn more about the character from the Ultimania and On the Way to a Smile stories.
Fair enough Sephiroth is the better swordsman to be sure but only demonic weapons can hurt Laharl his powers make roth look like a child and even if sephiroth could come back to life he needs someone with Jeanova Cells to do it.
There is no possible victory for Sephiroth in this fight a Demi God or whatever vs a Demon Overlord!, he isnt just the strongest in a world but a Netherworld thats like an entire Universe, its a term i like to call outclassed Laharl is a bigger stronger more powerful Sephiroth.
Unless you can think of a way Sethiroth could possibly avoide a whole horde gigantic flaming Meteors and Dimention slash.

Sephiroth doesn’t have to have somebody with Jenova Cells to come back to life as you call it. (which technically isn’t true because he really doesn’t die to begin with) During the Nibelheim incident the game shows Sephiroth being flung into a Mako pit and disappearing, (however it’s shown in the Last Order OVA that he actually jumps off into it willingly) the next time the real Sephiroth is seen is 5 years later in the Northern Crater. The Ultimania Omega states:
The Ultimania Omega wrote:
It’s mentioned that after Sephiroth jumped into the Lifestream back in Nibelheim, his body dissolved, but because of his powerful will, he reformed it at the Northern Crater, where his life energy and Jenova’s head were washed to. This most likely is why he only seemed to have a torso when he cast Meteor (he was still reforming his original body), and why the Ultimania Omega says that he was regenerating in the Northern Crater.
Sephiroth never really dies, in fact the “Maiden Who Travels the Planet” says that even after he was defeated as Safer Sephiroth he was still alive, Cloud had to project his spirit into the lifestream to finish off Sephiroth’s will, which as seen in Advent Children still didn’t get rid of him.
Now, on the subject of Sephiroth surviving Laharl’s attacks, it’s quite possible that he could survive them, but his chances are definitely increased due to his ability to fly, that allows him to escape large attacks. There is even evidence that may suggest he is able to teleport around as well. In Advent Children he is able to create his Masamune Sword from nothing, the sword is created from the very lifestream that he called forth before his fight with Cloud. Kadaj was born of the lifestream, his body is basically that, so if Sephiroth can pull his sword from nothing it’s possible he could break his body down and reform it in another place. (if his current body was created of the lifestream like Kadaj was)
Then we have to look at Laharl, is it possible for him to resist Sephiroth’s illusions? And would Sephiroth’s sword which was created from the very life of the planet be able to hurt Laharl? And more importantly, would Laharl be stupid enough to destroy the planet they were fighting on?
