I had to do a Satanic FAQ in third period today, saying that “Satanists to not worship Satan! I don’t even believe Satan exists!"

When they asked how I believe the Universe came to be, I said that there is no way anyone can ever know, and they were all “In the Bible it says RIGHT THERE that God made it!"

In all fairness, the post creator never said it was for Satanists, only devil worshipers, who DO worship Satan (duh).

Also, she is named after a Rob Zombie song, so that’s a plus.

Ummm...I am a Satanist. Well Im trying to understand the Whole meaning of being a Satanist. Im not really if there is a Satan or a God, but if you can tell, Satan’s more real and more strong than God no matter what. Im not sure if you understand. But think about how the worlds more fucked up then it is sane. When I was younger I used to believe “if I believe in God, ill be more fortunate and better things will come to me.” Fuck that. Either theres no god, or he’s just not any better than how people picture Satan.

Personally, I don’t believe Satan or God exist.

Satanism however, is about worshiping what Satan represents, not a fictional character.

A Christian will tell you Satan represents evil, which is true...in their eyes. However Christianity was based all around making humans evil. Our instincts, our emotions, everything our body told us to do was made out to be wrong and sinful.

Now Satan, according to Christianity, is evil. Now taking all the Christian morals as being what many consider as “good”, Satanism would be the inverse. For example “Satan represents vengeance instead of turning the other cheek”. Satanism advocates indulging in sins, because, let’s face it, sinning is fun.

Ever sleep in late? Sloth.

Ever want something someone else had? Greed/Lust.

Ever overeat on Christmas? Ironically- gluttony.

I love smart people. Sorry… :s You seem smart. But what I really hate, is anyone who believes in god, I could really care less if they believe in Satan or not, or what he represents. But I hate people who think everything is wrong and you shouldn’t do it because its against what God feels is right, or any bullshit like that. Shit I don’t know if that made sense. I don’t sleep much and I’m really tired, so I hope it did. If not, I’ll try harder to explain it again.

I think I get what you are saying. But if you want to get really into Satanism I would suggest getting The Satanic Bible. You can pick it up at Borders for like, 7 USD. It’s a really good read and shows a lot of hypocrisies in a lot of organized religions, and things that are just plain old stupid (praying for people that you hate).

It doesn’t, however, go into where The Universe came from and why we are here, and briefly touches on the afterlife. As far as that goes though, I’m a nihilist.
