A lot!
It depends on how upgradeable your current PC is. I’ll say this, if your motherboard does not accept PCI express video cards, you may as well buy a whole new PC! ---

Weird____Guy not logged in Guest | a hell of a lot; expect to have to splurge on a 8800 GTX ($600+), 2 gigs of RAM, the best Dual Core 2 duo INTEL CPU you can find and a liquid cooling system to keep all of that cold. Oh, and a huge-ass power-supply. And to get the most out of it, get an awesome wireless keyboard, mouse headset and a 30” screen (cause if you don’t have a huge screen you are WASTING that 8800 GTX!).

Weird____Guy not logged in Guest | and by the way, what I listed would cost in the range of $4,000 IF you made it yourself. If you want it premade (IE alienware or falcon northwest) expect to spend up to $7,000. mind you, this is if you want maximum settings and nothing less.

I’m going to connect my PC to my HDTV for a long night of playing Crysis. Basically I just need to upgrade my video card. I’m currently running 6800 SLI + 2 Gigs ram. I figure, I just need to upgrade to an 8800 GTX and I’m good to go. I’m still wondering about upgrading to Vista. Is DX10 for Vista really going to make that big of a difference? I’m very skeptical on upgrading to Vista until a new service pack is released. ---

thats why consoles rule! they are graphical power houses for a low price of just 400$ and if u want virtually a computer and gaming powerhouse then u only need to pay 600$, thats why pcs dont rule, they cost too much ---
