I hate the Grand theft auto series, but if it were changed into something like Dead Rising it would be an awesome game for me. Also, I got a little confused from the title. Shouldn’t it be “Great games you hate”?

As to Zirnitra, the only good sports game was Tony Hawk and the NBA streets. Other than that, I agree with you.

Only Tony Hawk games that didn’t blow, IMO, was THUG. Because that had a pretty good story to it, and you could make your own character, which was really great.

I should play that game later tonight.

I liked the first one better. But THUG 2 had more options for customizing. But that was outweighed because they had to put freaking Bam in there.

You missed the point, as usual. Incase you still don’t realize what it is, it’s that Zelda is a legendary series, one of the best of all time.

Ram, you are missing the point...

the whole point of this thread is to list games that everyone loves but you think are crap. Halo is legendary, and Madden is one of the top selling games ever, and Soul Calibur is one of the highest rated fighting games of all time, and all of those franchises have been listed.

I know alot more series of games that are better then zelda its just people think zelda is fun because theres a world to explore but in truth its just a sucky game made by some guy who thinks people care about his childhood

No. Its made by a guy who isn’t the consumer’s bitch and makes what the fuck he wants to. Shigeru’s done more for gaming than most people in the process.

Nonetheless, not everyone will like Zelda. I really can’t easily comment in this thread, seeing as I have two things for games: Games I like and games that are quality.

But, I think Halo is overrated, and its probably because I’ve been playing FPS games on the PC for a long time.

I still don’t get the majesty of Final Fantasy VII, aside from its simplicity, its really just a basic, run-of-the-mill Japanese RPG. Little depth to anything. I liked it, but I enjoy other FF’s far more.

F.E.A.R. That FPS bored me. The graphics aren’t even that good, so bland and dull.

Wind Waker. Too easy compared to the other Zelda’s. It was watered down, and mind-numbingly tedious. Only thing going for it was the charming art style.

Mortal Kombat. Okay, seriously. HOW IS THIS GOOD!? What did this do, besides shock the feds? The fighting is so damn basic, so bullshittingly basic that I could watch my wall do nothing and I’d have more fun. Ninjas are cool, I’ll hand them that, but otherwise the game is just a boring, uninspired game that banks on shock value. I much prefer Street Fighter, Tekken, Soul Caliber, Guilty Gear, and KOF for their deeper complexity and more options. Better yet, give me Smash Bros. and I’ll have a party. I do give mercy to Trilogy, because of the underrated combo system.

Ramunematt, you’re missing the point. This topic is titled crappy games that everybody loves. Therefore, rtiys2 gets the point of the topic; he says that he dislikes a game that everybody else loves. You, however, do not get the point of the topic. Deal with it.

btw, gameboy pokemon games are so f-ing overrated. God, I hate them.

Also, I never really did like Casltevania... Symphony of the Night didn’t do anything for me, and none of the GBA or DS games have done anything to change that... am I abnormal? Is there anyone else here who doesn’t like Casltevania?
