yeah so one day God just decides to poof out of nowhere and then he decides that in all his glory he is just going to create the universe for no reason but his own entertainment... then he is going to make these things called humans for the sole purpose of worshiping him even though he is all powerful and doesn’t really need anything at all... (what a huge annoying ego huh...) finally he is also going to make a vast array of empty space in which he places nothing but fun things for us to look at during the night... yeah makes ALOT of sense huh... i see the light... or maybe i just see some dusty old pages constantly revived for no purpose other than to control us and inflate our already rediculous thoughts about how great we are...

ya, thats not what i was saying though. i wasn’t denying that there could be derastic change, i’m just saying that it would not be totaly positive.
an example that i have herd around. some bugs have developed a was to fight off what we are using to poison them. as we poison that race to get rid of them, that type thrives more. but, if our poisoning theme were to stop, then it would be the reverse, becouse you can’t just make a species totally better with a random mutation. becouse of that, there couldn’t really be evolution from a single celled organism to a complex human being. see what i’m saying?

The Origin of Species explains all that in detail. He makes a lot of good points and can probably answer all of the questions you have on evolution. You should try reading it sometime.
