the 300 spartans fought in a small pass called thermopylae, *they were also joined by around 4000 other greeks,
*the spartans wouldn’t fight freely, they stayed in the ph
the wall of bodies was created, *but it was created by so many bodies running into the phalanx
*the battle lasted 3 days
On the final day, King Leonidas sent the allied greeks home, along with *TWO Spartans who had eye infections.
The persians surrounded the greeks using a secret pass around the mountain, and killed the spartans with waves of arrows. ---
