Gunblazer suggested this I wholeheartedly agree.

We should have the forum rules Stickied in every section of the forum. This way, no matter where you are in the forum, you an find the rules and guidelines for Movie Codec. This allows everyone to know the boundaries and then they have no excuses for breaking them.

I think this is a great idea. The question is, is it ok for mods to go ahead and do this (sticky a link in every forum to the rules thread)? What do the other mods think?

I’m not a Mod, however I think it’s a very good idea to at least post the rules in every section. Not just link to them, but actually copy and paste the official rules.

I agree with Cid. We should copy all the forum rules into a topic and then sticky them in each section. This way there can be no excuses like “oh the link didn’t work for me” or “I didn’t know that you had to click there to see the rules"

I think that makes sense. Shall we proceed or wait for an opinion from Weeman and GR?

I would say go ahead, however might be a good idea to at least get their take on it.

Well i don’t see what goldenraptor and weeman could possibly have against this idea.
After all it does just make the rules more widely known.

Had I known that Spamming, and being racist was against the rules(even after the several warnings) I would probably still be banned.

Well, it’s still good for them to ask. Firewolf and Etain are the rookie mods, so in their case it’s always best to verify something like this with their seniors before carrying it out. Even if they are fairly sure it will happen anyway.

Exactly. When you’re new or newish you hate to step on the toes of the more experienced mods.

I would say go ahead, however might be a good idea to at least get their take on it.

Your opinion is as good as any moderators, along with most of the senior members.

I’ve got no objection.

There is a right of passage in saying that Di5turbed and Mortis are senior members... their advice is mostly useless at times.
