Hey, I understand that. I haven’t been here for as long as Cid and Cid is more well known that I am.
I don’t take offense at your concerns and that fact that you feel that I shouldn’t have been a MOD. Its understandable, really it is. I can see where you are coming from.
perhaps give it some time and I can show you that I can be a good Moderator and that getting elected for this position was not necessarily a bad thing in the end?
Just trying to address RageOverdose’s concerns, thats all. I don expect every member to be happy with the decision. It’s natural to have some people disagree with the decision. I just don’t want to dismiss their feelings and opinion.
They have an opinion and I am willing to listen.
Personally I still hope they elect you as a MOD also. That would be Sweet

To tell ya' the truth, part of me feels cheated. I’ve been here longer than most (albeit, not as consistent until recently) and have, in the past, been successfully an “officer” online.
That’s part of it, but I still stand that codec knowledge alone does not warrant modism, but rather aasurance of responsibility (which I realize is hurting my chances of ever being mod due to weak consistencies). The mods should have more iniative in going to the other forums. In fact, until today, I thought they did. So, I see why he chose you now. I think he should also require all mods to check other forums regularly.
But I hold no grudges, and my final reasoning is from an official, not personal, stand. I was gung-ho about it though, and probably shouldn’t have been, since I’ve fixed my logic. For that I apologize.
I did have the support of a few other Members on the forum so I don’t think the decision was based ENTIRELY on the fact that I frequent the other sections of the forums, It just as GR said 'give me an advantage over CID'.
Most members like me and seem to think I am one of the more Mature and respectful members and I have proved myself as a good mediator when we had the whole Savage Snake thing going on.
Now I’m not trying to say that your opinion is unfounded or irrelevant. You have valid concerns and there is no reason to apologize.
I also think that another point that shows that I was not appointed Mod only on the basis of the fact that I go to other sections is the fact that out of all the Mods we have so far, Not one that I know of has been appointed on that basis of their Codec Knowledge alone. Im sure that if Cardice (no offense cardice) had the best Codec knowledge in the world, he would still not be appointed on the basis of that fact.
I have been a good consistent member of Movie Codec and have been here for 6 months now. 3 months as a guest and 3 months as a registered user. In that time I have followed the rules, and contributed to the forum to the best of my ability. I do realize that I may have been here much less than yourself and many of the other senior members but given the chance, I am sure that I can prove my worthiness to all.
