I thought that since we have a writer’s thread, we should have an art thread too. So here it is, Moviecodec’s official Art thread. Post your work here and let the people critique your work.
Just a little something to start the thread off, this is a pic of Naruto I drew one night, there is more to come.

etain says the same, although her statement is a blanket one, not just about the drarin’s

I used to play the guitar all the time as well. It’s very strange with me. I always get depressed when I’m doing artistic activities.
I began to play acoustic, but the caluses on my fingers numbed them and I chose my art over music. Art is great to pour your depression, or anger, into, because when you’re doing it it tends to feed on those same emotions.
Thus when I’m happy I don’t draw, for the most part, or I just doodle and work on unfinished ones.
I even quit that art teaching gig at the Library, despite the crazy pay.
Standing and teaching in a classroom full of 8-12 year olds for 2 hours stopped being worth the $

I’m taking a guess here but you must be left handed to worry about calluses like that?

actually no, I’m right handed, but I have Multiple Sclerosis, so strumming or even using a pic can cause my fingers to numb
although I’m ambidextrous in alot of things, and sometimes draw left handed to practice

Hmm that’s strange. Usually your right hand, or the hand you strum with never usually gets calluses, mostly the chord hand... Unless you do a lot of finger picking. Sorry to hear that.
