I loved it. Not only did it bring in veterans Bill Mosley and Sid Haig, It also had a edginess not seen since the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 or French Horror flick High Tension.
It had all the right mix. Psycho clown, Brutal beginning, Nutty Characters, Torture and patronization. You really felt for the teens, especially fish boy
Cherri Moon played her part really well. Well done for Mr Zombie putting his daughter in such a prominent role. She really did well.
All in all. it is one of the best horror flicks I have seen and I have almost seen them all & that is NO EXAGGERATION. Even the so called Banned ones.
I would have to give House of 1000 Corpses 9/10. It looses 1 point cause DR Satan should have had more screen time, after all he was the main villain.
I loved that Fat Bastard Sid Haig as Captain Spalding and the DVD intro with his banter and eating a real juicy Mother Fu@ker was top stuff. AWESOME!
i like this movie...but its sequel the devils rejects was a million times better (IMO)..i liked devils rejects better b/c we found out a lot about that family and ya it had a kick ass story line..i loved every sec of that movie

Well , I was going to go into a long explanation and such but uhh .. well ... I am finding a sort of 50/50 on Zombie’s movies... but i hope it does not steer him off because THEY SIMPLY FREAKIN ROCK ! (I like them in order btw 1000 then Devil’s )
