i havnt played ff13 but from what ive seen i think cloud would win

Personaly i say Lightning so far she hasnt broke asweat and appears better skilled with a blade.

They can both kill each other. However, I’m leaning towards Cloud since he has more strength overall.

Lightning is kick ass she will kick the shit out of Cloud she is pretty much a soldier but a lot better trand

well has more backing but id still say Lightning will prove alot stronger as time gos on as she wasmade to represent a female Cloud.

Ummm, I hate to sound rude but....

How the hell do you compare a character of which so little is known that she could actually be a dude dressed like a girl to a guy in which just about everything is known about?

Right now Cloud wins because he’s stronger, you can’t argue it because you have nothing to argue with. Until the game is actually released you can’t do a fair comparison.

but im mearly throwing it out there, anyway it is a chick if you would look closely or look on Wiki, and her name is Lightning she is a high ranked Soldier who has a partner who uses guns and fancys himself a cowboy.

I also think the guy from Versus would rape Sephiroth badly.

this is all that is known about the two charicters i like, notice it says the battles will be built upon Advent children Desighn so we will indeed see the superior Fighter.

We won’t really see anything unless they remake FF7 for the PS3 and give us more cinematic fight scenes.

FF AC was good, but it lacks several things.

1. While Sephiroth was the strongest he’s ever been, the rest of the cast excluding maybe Reno and Rude were not. They hadn’t been fighting much at all for the last two years.

2. Out of the main cast; the only characters that did enough fighting to tell anything was Cloud and Tifa. Even Vincent seemed to be a lot weaker then he was supposed to have been.

3. Even though the fights were pretty badass, they just weren’t long enough to showcase the full potential of any of the characters.

They won’t announce anything until the Square Enix party, I think that’s this month but it could be next month. I can’t remember.

It isn’t looking good though, SE obtained a license for a new Final Fantasy Game called “Final Fantasy Haerasis XIII”, another entry into the Fubula Nova Crystalis series.

However, let me state that one thing SE said points to something else.

“The evolution will never stop, the series continues [... ] and the Final Fantasy that nobody knows will enter in scene.“

Could be something else, however one thing that bugs me, everybody who’s played FF knows what FF7 is.
