On 27 March 2007 it was reported on the BBC News website that the PlayStation 3 had broken United Kingdom sales records. It had sold more than 165,000 units in its first two days on the shelves, compared to 71,000 for the Xbox 360, and 105,000 for the Wii.[135] It is the second-fastest selling home console in Britain with a software attachment rate of 1.65;[136] however, British retailers claim that the PS3 was subjected to as many as 20,000 pre-order cancellations.[137] It has been reported that UK PS3 console sales for the following week are down 82%, with a 60% drop in sales of the two most popular titles, Motorstorm and Resistance.
Thats just bullshit that some retard who works for nintendo made up because they got a huge shock when they heard it broke records. Its impossible for game sales to drop 82% in a week its bullshit and only a smart person would belive that it droping that much is a lie. Sony denies it so the information isn’t even credible

Well, it can’t be disproven unless Sony disproves it, which I don’t think they have.

First of all, give me a link that said all that was made up by a Nintendo fan, even though it had official links.
Second, find me a link of Sony actually denying that info

Guys, it’s simple and it’s true.
At launch there was a huge rush for the console, they sold a hell of a lot more then anybody expected. After launch was over most of the people who wanted a PS3 already had one, so of course sales are going to slow down, and if it started off that fast, then I’d think they’d drop pretty hard.
I still don’t think they shipped 1,000,000 consoles, the only “official” source we have right now is Chart Tracks, they compile sales data for a lot of things in the UK, so until Sony gives us an official state we won’t know the truth.
'Officially' they shipped 600,000 PS3s and sold 165,000 on the first two days.
After that opening rush sales dropped by 82% meaning from this date that may have sold over 200,000 consoles, meaning that it’s unlikely they’ll pass 350,000 by the end of April.
