In a 2006 interview with Terrorizer magazine, current guitarist Paul Allender said “We were never a black metal band. The only thing that catered to that was the make-up. Even when The Principle of Evil Made Flesh came out — you look at Emperor and Burzum and all that stuff — we didn’t sound anything like that. The way that I see it is that we were, and still are now, an extreme metal band."

well no not really thats just Dani saying that...ofcourse he wont say what genre cradle was and is now...he wants people to think that CoF is way different from any other band...which they kinda are thet have a very different unique sound to them.

if you can find anything by them On Thorns I Lay are a pretty good jazz/prog/death metal band...
extremely underground Italian band with a female vocalist, the musics not very exciting, its more like a series of heavy metal lullabies.. but I like it, its alright.
If you can find anything by them, check it out... they are VERY underground though... for a long time I thought the band name was Orama, which is the name of their most recent album
