What you mean is infamy. There is a difference.

Yeah Metallicas newest album sounds like god damn country music. Mainly everyone in the US hates them because pop and hip hop are taking over the music industry over here.

The music industry in the United States is falling to bands like Fall Out Boy and other emo pop bands that think they are punk.

Some of the best bands i’ve heard in my life come from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, etc.

Oh and of course... Great Britain. *cough*Ozzy*cough*

if a black metal band sells a record, they are sell outs.

This is something to get used to sell out bands and rap music are going to be like disco, techno, and pop. They will eventually loose popularity completely, and rock will be the victor once again.

and if it wasnt recorded onto multiply reused, stretched and never cleaned, staticy cassette tape with one homemade microphone consisting of a magnet in a bean tin, it wasn’t black metal to start with.

poor bands in Europe are like that. They don’t really have the budget to have good recordings.

No actually, it started because of Bathory. Bathory was a one mean band, and that man didnt have a godd recording studio. It was his parents garage. So, his recordings sounded like shit. Bathory happens to be one of the first influences any black metal band states. See where Im going?

I did not say it was NOT about satanism exactly, some is. More underground stuff doesn’t exactly talk alot about satanism from what I have listened to. Mayhem and Emperor, sure, are mainly satanic, but many bands are not too satanic.

3 words. Scandinavia. Early nineties.

I have not listened to many Scandinavian bands, I mainly listed to bands from Norway, though they can be pretty satanic too. But anyway, the stuff I listen to does not carry as much satanism as more popular black metal like mayhem and emperor

Scandinavia is a region, including sweden, denmark, finland, and, this may come as a surprise, norway. And popular black metal? Really? And I know, not all has satanism, but most of it has at least some satanic connotion.

I feel like a total ass now. lol

Alright, never defame the name of goth by mentioning him in the same sentence. HIM isnt goth. Bauhaus, sisters of mercy, The cure is goth.
