I’ve got a cool idea for a movie. I’m not a writer or anything (in fact not even a college graduate), I’m also not from america so please bare with my simple use of words and grammatical errors. Ok here goes, the story starts when a group of friends or relatives are drinking in a bar and just shootin' the shit. One of them asks a question which makes the story of the movie. The question is, what would you do if you have 1 billion dollars? Now these friends or relatives (comprised of maybe 3-5) have different hobbies, talents, dreams, etc., so the movie will consist of different fantasies of each character. One could be a wannabe playboy and his story would be about his dreams of philandering, the next one could be into music or movies so his segment could be his dreams of directing or producing a dream movie or having lots of parties with his favorite bands playing for him. The 3rd character could be into sports in which in his fantasy he would be the best player in his favorite sport and along comes the benefits(fans, groupies, etc.. The fourth could be a firearms fanatic person so a little action sequence could be inserted in this segment. The last one could be the guy looking for the perfect relationship or the person who is into outdoor adventures so nice landscapes, breathtaking views, a little adventure with villains and female companions could be provided as well. After all this comes the final scene where all of them realize it’s all just a fantasy and food for thought, then they finish their drinks and each respectively goes his own way after. Each one of them also walks away with a “what if?" look. So you see my movie idea hasn’t just got 1 definite genre but 4 or 5 different kinds of movies in 1. And most definitely everybody or 99% of the viewers can relate at least a little bit to one part if not all of the characters in the movie. The movie could also have 4 or 5 different directors. For example, an alexander Payne type of director could direct the first, a Cameron Crowe, Richard Linklater, P.T. Anderson could do the 2nd, a John Moore, Michael Mann type director could do the fourth, an Eli Roth, John Stockwell, Robert Zemeckis could do the fifth, and an Edward Burns, Woody Allen, Kevin Smith could direct the parts where they have their conversations in a bar. Anyway, these suggestions of mine for directors are just spur of the moments ideas since I took only about 30 minutes typing this(I type very slow).

Thanks King John 830. I’ll try to write a formal script. But as for having it made, that would be pretty hard for me considering that i’m on the other side of the world from Hollywood.

Yeah me too. The only place i’ve ever been to outside of the Philippines is Spain. What’s the name of that tourist destination in Australia which is sort of like Hollywood where you shoot your films?

Sunny and Warm. Nice atmosphere although th summers can sometimes be a scorcher. Oh and we have a great deal of deadly animals. We have 7 of the ten most poisonous snakes in the world. The deadliest ocean life, such as the box jellyfish, Great white shark, Blue ringed octopus, stone fish, scorpion fish ect, some of the deadliest spiders in the world too. The Sydney Funnel web will kill you within 1/2 hour of being bitten. 10 minutes or less if bitten from the shoulder upshocked

Apart from that, its a great place to livewink

Seriously though, the risk of dying from such animals is still low. we watch out and take precautions. Deaths still happen, but we have anti venoms and the like to help people. Apart from the spiders, most of Australia is fairly safe in the towns and suburbs. Out bush is slightly different as you get the snakes coming in, but like I said, providing you are careful, everything is fine.

I’ve heard that there is a problem with the overpopulation of Bullfrogs. Is there any truth behind that story?

We can have a cane toad problem occasionally. Not where I live, but it has happened in the past. Not recently though, not that I can remember.
