UBER 1337 Poster Rep: 7 Joined: 12 Mar 2007 Posts: 2,009 OFFLINE | Uh oh... yeah Ummm I locked myself out of my house this morning and I have no way of getting in and my mom wont be back til midnight tonight. how can i pick the lock? i dont know how. I dont know what Im supposed to turn or hit....i just dont know. please help me out lol

I just asked a neighbor if I could mow their lawn for some money to call a locksmith and unlock it. Hey, it got me in the house. 
But considering your mom will be home tonight, then may be better off just tuffing it out. It’s not the end of the world.

UBER 1337 Poster Rep: 6 Joined: 10 Feb 2007 Posts: 2,318 OFFLINE | step up to the door, you want about 3 or 4 feet between you and it, or take a run up to this position if you can, then lift your leg and kick it, step into the kick, act as though your target is something behind the door, you want to go THROUGH the door.
Of course, if this doesn’t work, it’s because your diet of sushi has left you feeble and weak.
edit: if anyone tried this, kick as close to the actual lock as possible

I did this once when my friends parents accidentally locked her out and went off to a pub gig, I climbed up to a small window in the middle of the stairs, went downstairs and opened the door, and her dog just wagged its tail at me the whole time...
