I don’t touch religion with a 10 foot pole. What I mean by that is that I’m very disapointed in how mankind has control over their “religions” and churches seem to be taken over by organised religious groups who tweek things at their taste of what’s good and bad.
I’d rather live my life trying my best a good person, take care of myself and others around me and make the best of what I can. I don’t need a book or a church to tell me how to. I live by example and I try to be a good influence.
As for the God subject. It’s soooo hard to describe or understand or beleive in a “God”... it could be anything. I suppose we have to beleive that “something” put us here... energy of things can’t have just somehow existed without having been created , imho. But what/who is God? Don’t know. Nobody does. People beleive he is an omnipresence, some think we were created by aliens. Some think he’s a big invisible dude looking over us. I think God is whatever you make of him. We don’t have the answers, you wont find it in books, or churches
