Actually that coould be possible, certain foods can cause waste to be in different forms and colors, (it’s true), those resources that do that are absorbed into the body, so why not over many years it could slowly change the skin color?

It is quite possible but the entirety of Asia? Maybe there was more to it than just the Yellow river.
