for hundreds of years do you both realise it’s the 21st century and nobody cares anymore about who the hell this bloke
was or wasn’t.....
People do care but really, I don’t care what people think.
No people that need hope believe in this bs everyone i know
dosnt care anymore...
That’s a lot of people that care. Most of the U.S. calls itself Christian.
They may call them self christian but do they believe in christianity.
They believe in God and Jesus. That’s really all you need to believe.
Like i said i’m not really religious so i wouldn’t
listen to me.....
Well, that’s all you need to believe to be Christian.
No.
In that case, Islam and Judaism would also be Christian, as they believe them too. But, they see Jesus differently than a Christian does. More as a prophet.
NO to be a christian all you need to do is belive in god and his manifested self in the form of Jesus who died for your sins and he rose up on the third day.
Hmmm ... not necessarily ... maybe by your definition, which is albeit the popular one, but there are many branches of Christianity. I consider myself a Unitarian Christian (at least for now), which means I believe in ONE God. No Trinity, not manifestation of God in Christ. I believe that Christ is the ultimate goal for all mankind, and that by being “Christ-like” and following the two-fold commandment of love (Love your god and love your neighbour as yourself) “salvation” (whether in this life or the next) can be found without the need for any symbolic sacrifice to atone for Original Sin, which is, by the way, entirely unbiblical and in my opinion, absurd.

Christian overall. The branches are all part of Christianity.

Wel it says in the bible to be saved all you have to do is believe in Jesus and what he did. You dont go to heaven by doing good deeds.
Yeah, well that also contradicts other parts of the Bible that say you have to do good things ... the only Gospel that mentions Salvation by Faith is John, and then Paul’s epistles. However, Jesus said that to get into heaven you have to love your neighbour and be generous and compassionate. This is reiterated in James, who was Jesus brother, and head of the church after the crucifixion. Read James and you’ll see what I’m saying.
