Final Fantasy: Advent Children and Spirited Away are the only two that come to my mind right away.

They shot the movie on a green screen and then totally animated everything, like a scanner darkly, including the actual actors. It was like FF spirits within or advent children. the whole thing was was completely CGI

Final Fantasy: Spirits Within was a pretty decent movie. I suppose why people didn’t like it was because it didn’t have too much of the Final Fantasy element to it. A good movie, just not like any Final Fantasy game I’ve ever played.

I never liked SW, I thought it was crap overall. But then again I don’t think Advent Children was that great either.
