(P.S. My religion clearly states that God is in the 7th heaven. Not the 1st layer, 2nd, or even third. It goes beyond all of our percievable and unpercievable “layers”. It is only accessable through faith, or outreach from that “layer”.)

Sorry to Disappoint you Matt. I would seem that both the Professor and I respect each other enough and demonstrate enough maturity to discuss our points in a civilized manner.
I am not un-accepting of other religious followings as my belief is that every religion has a place in this world.
Also a good debate should never degrade into a argument, but a discussion of views and counter arguments to points made by the opposition.
Professor_gad conducted himself in a respectable and proper manner fitting of someone of his stature and beliefs and for that I commend him on a job well done
I myself was expecting a heated debate, but we came to a compromise so fighting luckily did not occur.

Another interesting proof for the Bible is the Serbia dig-to-the-middle-of-the-earth project. When they got pretty deep they claim to have heard demons (and they tape-recorded it) so they stopped the project. Pretty scary?
They still call Serbia the “deepest burining hell”, for this reason of course.
The Bible talks about the “waiting place” of all dead spirits before the end of the age when all great and small will be judged. I believe that this waiting place is in the middle of the earth.

There are SOME extremist muslims... the majority are not... I have many muslim friends who are very kind and better people than most others I know...
Anyways extremisim of any kind is bad... it’s just that now Islam is the religion in question... for many years it was Christianity and I’m sure each and every religion has their nutjobs who will do crazy things that they think are right...
also anyone who kills in the name of God makes their God a murderer... always liked that line...

First of all, Allah just means “The God” in Arabic, it is not “their” god, if you were Christian or Jewish in an Arab speaking country you would call your God Allah also. Maybe you assholes should at least learn some basic arabic so you can know what you’re talking about (The Quran) before you judge it.
Second of all the Quran does not support that. In fact, it says something quite different:
(2:190) You may fight in the cause of GOD against those who attack you, but do not aggress. GOD does not love the aggressors.
(2:191) You may kill those who wage war against you, and you may evict them whence they evicted you. Oppression is worse than murder. Do not fight them at the Sacred Masjid, unless they attack you therein. If they attack you, you may kill them. This is the just retribution for those disbelievers.
(2:192) If they refrain, then GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.
(2:193) You may also fight them to eliminate oppression, and to worship GOD freely. If they refrain, you shall not aggress; aggression is permitted only against the aggressors.
